Best in the State Florida

One of our best experiences in a Hotel.. A solid week of perfection. Top to bottom. And a special praise for Charlotte at the pool side bar. And I don't drink alcohol drinks. Before you say anything negatively

You can find a better place to stay....

Fantastic location, and a beautiful pool area. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room quality was simply a joke. Our toilet seat wasn't fastened on the toilet... sliding all over the place. And worse yet, the toilet was not secured to the floor. While using it... it wobbled left and right... and as it did, it flushed itself. Of course, the door to the room stuck shut, I needed to kick it to get it to open. Do yourself a favor, go to a different resort...

Need maintenance and better food quality and service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Great location but very old buildings in need of maintenance and repairs. Staff in uninterested in customers and food was extremely poor and overpriced. Added service fees do not encourage employees to strive for a better Tip. Shame, great location but will not return.

Rude front desk agents

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

This was my third stay at the Omni, and unfortunately it will be my last. When I checked in, I asked about a complimentary upgrade, which is one of the benefits offered through American Express when booking with my card. Instead of discussing an upgrade, the front desk agent attempted to downgrade my room. I politely declined. Later, I decided to extend my stay by one night. I returned to the front desk and spoke with Samantha, asking if she could check for availability. Without even looking, she told me there was none. When I asked if she could please check, she said she had already looked for another guest and didn't need to do it again. I then showed her on my American Express app that a room was available, and she simply told me to book it online myself. I booked the room online and then returned to the front desk to request that I remain in my current oceanfront room since I had booked the same room category again. Considering the room was nearly $1,000 per night, I was shocked when I was told I would need to pay an additional $75 just to stay in the same room because I hadn't booked the exact room number. After already spending close to $1,000 for the extra night, that felt unreasonable. I declined. Fortunately, I called reservations from my room and spoke with Jim, who was professional, helpful, and assured me not to worry about the additional $75 charge. He was the one bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience. At checkout, the front desk agent incorrectly told me that my American Express benefit only covered breakfast for one additional morning rather than two. Based on the terms of the benefit, that was not accurate, but by that point I was exhausted from repeatedly having to argue for benefits and accommodations that should have been straightforward. I've traveled all over the world and have never encountered so many rude and unhelpful interactions at a hotel front desk. When a property is charging nearly $1,000 per night, guests should be able to expect courteous, knowledgeable, and customer-focused service. The location and property are beautiful, but the front desk experience completely overshadowed my stay. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

A nice visit but…

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

The property is beautiful. Everyone, from the front desk team to the bell staff & especially the restaurant crew is excellent. Requests were handled quickly. We especially recommend breakfast @ Florabelle (the fresh orange juice) & dinner @ Bob’s Chop House ( the creamed corn is a must!) The only downside was housekeeping. Our room must have been located in forgotten area because housekeeping was simply non-existent. We’re not demanding, just wanted basic service & we’re good tippers, but we had to call each day to request housekeeping. That’s the treat when staying at an upscale hotel, rather than a VRBO or AirBNB, right? Not having to make the bed or wash towels? This was the only negative aspect. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
