Check in process was ok, lobby was packed and very loud, hard to hear front desk staff. When I got off the elevator to our floor the first thing I heard was the crunching of chips under my luggage wheels and then saw the sprawl of chips and Cheetos all the way up the hall and right up to our room door. I called the front desk/operator and they seemed to care less, the issue wasn’t taken care of until they vacuumed the hallway the next morning at 7am. The room was clean, but nothing special. I called the front desk/or whoever answered to inquire where the welcome party was for the business event I was there for, the response was “Well it’s almost over you won’t make it,” and when asked where it was located on the map the response was “I don’t have a map, I have no idea how to get there”. Dinner at the restaurant was actually very good and the bartender was great, very friendly. Parking is insane expensive, your already paying a fortune for the room and then they charge $43 per day for parking. We were charge an entire day for the day we left at 1030am. Overall I would say I’ll definitely never go there again, such a rip off for mediocre hotel. To preface that we are not cheap people, but I expect to get what I pay for. My husband and I could have went to the Dominican Republic or somewhere comparable for 5 nights at a true 5star all-inclusive for what we paid for 2 nights.

Overall: Should be a 3 star hotel. Pros: I think the staff is nice and helpful even when they are clearly being super overworked. It was a holiday weekend so you expect it to be busy, I wish businesses would have holiday-help reinforcements. But overall the staff was pleasant and not rude at all. Cons: We stayed in the Jasmine building and the walls are horribly thin. You could hear your neighbors full conversation (and kids screaming). We were here with kids also but they did not scream. It might be the adjoining rooms are the worst b/c of the door. As the hallways were also loud. Room: Spacious. But loud as mentioned. Cleaning seemed fine. Balcony was super gross. Moldy, dirty, nothing I wanted to sit out on. Some green mold is typical for FL, but a little gross for a JW. We tried to get room service (just dessert & drinks/wine) (Sunday), and they said it would be an hour and half wait. This was at 7:30pm so we said no. Kind of not great if you're going to be a JW Marriott. Oh check in. We drove down on a Saturday, had an early check-in due to status. But not ready when we got here. Fine. So at 4pm, we checked in again, not ready. 5pm, not ready. Meanwhile we were suppose to eat at the hotel at 5:30. So we got into the room at 5:30 (tray of food outside the room, ugh). But it is what it is. I think it's not the staff I fault it's the management that allows it to be run this way. Why is the pool & lazy river at Tidal Cove so cloudy. I am used to crystal blue pool water.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and decided to start our recent trip to Florida here. Unfortunately that was a mistake - the rooms and staff are really high standard but the place was ridiculously busy. There seemed to be a number of corporate events running and we felt like bystanders at these functions as bars and pools were closed several times during our 4 night stay. Management showed little interest - no response to requests that they simply provide advance notice that facilities would be closed. I guess that underlines that Management didn’t seem to be interested in private guests. There were also long waits for breakfast - again I am sure the corporate guests would have been very well looked after. We were celebrating a special occasion and it was a mistake to stay here - we won’t be returning. As an aside we were also ‘refunded’ breakfast - which should have been included as we are Titanium members and also parking that we didn’t use - my advice would be to check your bill carefully.

Nice hotel with pretty grounds and a fun pool area that my teens enjoyed. Booked a junior suite which was basically a larger hotel room. Good location close to Aventura shopping. Hotel service was tough on a busy weekend and the main lobby bar was frequently closed for events, a small inconvenience. Breakfast was very good, but again overly busy.

They are unable to handle the capacity that they book at. We were provided with free breakfast each morning of our stay. Issue is… they can’t seat people. The first am it was a 2 hr wait and it was pure chaos with people lined up where complaining. Mind you this is a buffet breakfast. Same on the next day as well so we were unable to take advantage of the free breakfast. For the showers. We were in the 16 floor and had zero. I mean zero hot water. We let the shower run for 45 minutes in hopes of getting some hot water with no luck. We called the front desk with no assistance. Additional my husband went to the gym- returned to the room just to find out the key didn’t work. He goes all the way back down to come up to again a non working key. He went back down and the answer he got was “we can’t test it here for you. You just have to go up to the room every time”. We are titanium for life at Marriott. I can’t image how they treat everyone else.

I just returned from one of the most wonderful hotels I've stayed in. I bid on and won an auction on Luxury Link to Turnberry Isle Miami, which included five days of golf. IT WAS WONDERFUL! And so luxurious!

We booked Turnberry Isle Miami through Luxury Link and stayed for 9 days on a spectacular golf package. The hotel was fantastic! Beautiful upgraded balcony room overlooking the golf course. Great buffet breakfast. Fantastic golf on two excellent courses. Our golf package included the mandatory caddy fees, which added to the incredible value. I could not speak more highly for this hotel, and Luxury Link.
