We had a fabulous holiday! It was our first time to the Maldives and it was a wonderful experience. Pictures don’t do it justice! All the staff go out of their way to make the holiday special. From the moment we arrived Ishan was there to greet us and accompany us to our beach villa which had been beautifully decorated for our honeymoon by Aminul who kept the villa spotless throughout out stay. At the restaurant we were greeted with a smile by Roji and shown to a section of the restaurant where we we served by the wonderful Bibek, Nalinda and Madushan. Malindu had the broadest smile and was always happy to serve us with his wonderful pancake creations. In the bars Shankar and Ram deserve a special mention as well as the whole team who went above and beyond to create our cinema experience on the beach. It was originally cancelled due to the weather but unexpectedly rearranged for the following evening which was a lovely surprise. We loved being able to see the turtles and experience the whole tropical island and the beautiful ocean and reef. We were all inclusive and it would have been good to have all drinks/cocktails included, including beer in the villas. All in all a fabulous holiday!

I find this review hard to write, as there are so many things to say about this island paradise and I’m worried I will miss someone or something out. If you are looking at lots of resorts and you can’t decide which one to go to then give this island a look. My heart aches to be back there. We met people who genuinely became friends and made our stay so special. We arrived very easily on the sea plane which was incredible, we were met with a welcome party on the pier, smiling faces and instantly you know you’ve arrived somewhere special. How lucky we were to have HADJIBA as our very own personal guide. She took care of us throughout our stay and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. What a truly wonderful person she is, out stay was perfect all because of this lovely lady. I hope coco palm know how lucky they are to have her..❤️ The rooms are gorgeous and reflect the eco style of the island and these were cleaned every day , twice! Again we were so lucky as we had the smiley ARIF. He soon became a firm friend and I enjoyed talking to him about his family and life back home. He is someone I will never forget. He looked after the room to perfection and made our decorations so special x The food was excellent and the buffet was varied and a superb standard. Every day we found new and exciting food to try. There is another restaurant on the island nestled amongst the trees but we enjoyed the buffets so much and the joy of the staff in the restaurant that we didn’t eat at the Thai restaurant. All the staff who work are lovely , we had the special MOOSA take care of us every day. We looked forward to meal times. He is a very good singer and made me laugh (mango juice song!). I miss MOOSA..🥲 I’d like to also call out, NAMAL, SITHIK, for always being so lovely and welcoming and just kind people. All the staff behind the scenes cooking away and smiling, and the chef who makes the turtle shaped pancakes! Incredible .. We moved to a lagoon villa for our last 3 nights which was just wonderful. Our room was kept also to perfection by OAHAB who left beautiful decorations on our bed, so clever ! Elephant, swans, turtle … The lagoon villa has a small plunge pool which is lovely to sit in at night and stare up at the sky filled with stars as it’s so dark it really takes your breath away and having a shower watching the ocean has to be on every one’s bucket list ! The sand is as soft and white as can be, the lagoon is stunning, it can be a little rough some days but we always found a spot on the island that was quieter to snorkel. The fish are incredible and we snorkelled every day. We were lucky to have great weather and enjoyed our daily walk round the island and through sandy paths with so much greenery it’s incredible really to think you’re on an island. They also have a turtle sanctuary and we enjoyed popping in daily to see the work that goes on there. The chefs garden is lovely and enjoyable to see what the island can grow and the banana garden .. You can paddle board and kayak but we just never seemed to find the time as we chatted and snorkelled and slept and just watched the ocean most days mesmerised by the turtles and several days we saw the dolphins . Sunset cruise is lovely, this was led by coco, who is a great character and I enjoyed meeting him and his beautiful parrot. I certainly have the holiday blues since our return and I will without doubt be heading back to coco palm as soon as we possibly can..just divine..🥰

The hotel does not look like in the pictures, it is much below expectations, the villas over the water have damaged roofs, our villa with no. 95 was somehow on one side, I saw later that it had a broken support pillar, our entire stay we had problems with the bathroom door that would not close, you had to insist a lot until that lucky one closed. The road from the villa to the restaurant, reception, basically anywhere is very long and they don't have any transportation, like the golf carts I've seen in other resorts. The road is very poorly lit at night. The food at the buffet restaurant is repetitive, it's the same things over and over again, food that not many people eat because it contains a lot of curry or other flavors that Europeans are not used to, but especially it's a problem of variety. It's not a good place for snorkeling. It was the worst experience so far when it comes to this. Many of the employees are very kind, but most of them make it clear that they expect constant tips, and this is annoying. We always come prepared from home, but at this hotel we had to pay more than we expected.

We have just returned from the most phenomenal holiday at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu! The island is literally paradise and from the moment we stepped foot on the island, we felt relaxed and completely looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. From the greeting party on the jetty upon arrival to the representative taking us through Male airport at departure, we were made to feel so welcome with no worries or responsibilities. The island is so eco friendly, clean and natural and very well looked after. The wildlife on the island to the marine life in the shallow waters was amazing, constantly something to spot! It can’t go without saying, what elevates the island is the staff, they are all so polite and friendly, we have come away feeling we have some good friends. Our designated host, Ishan is the loveliest young man, he really made the holiday for us. And he had a good sense of humour, which helped him out with us! The island itself and the staff have made this the most wholesome, relaxing and perfect holiday ever. We fell in love with the island so much so, that we needed dragging off the island kicking and screaming when it was time to leave!

Thank you to everyone who made our visit to Coco Palm truly memorable. The staff was absolutely amazing, really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the choice was fantastic. The ladies at the spa were so friendly, and all of them remembered my name each time I went to visit, which made everything so special. I am sure that we will be visiting Coco Palm again in the near future.

We had a fantastic time at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu and surely want to say thank you again. The whole team on the island does a great job. Everything on the island is run very smoothly and the guest really gets the feeling of a home away from home. Thank you very much for those wonderful 5 days and a very special thank you for the private dinner on our last day – this was unbelievable!

Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu was every essence of the word 'paradise' and I had a fantastic time. We were made to feel as though everything was very special indeed and nothing at all was too much trouble. I must complement the chefs because they excelled themselves and I just loved the range and choice of food. Thank you!
