Exceptional Stay at a Serene Property

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 23 hours ago

What an absolutely exceptional stay at Ayana Resort. The warm hospitality, luxurious facilities and scrumptious food has been unmatched so far in our trip to Bali. The highlight of the stay was the Romantic Sunset Dinner at Bale Kencana to celebrate my wives birthday. The food was fabulous and Dika, our private dining butler, ensured we had the most romantic time possible. He also clicked some beautiful pics of us to serve us as memories for the rest of our lives. We highly recommend anyone looking to have a warm and beautiful stay to visit Ayana

Too luxury for nothing but just pictures.

We didnot like this hotel at all. 1. There are plenty of swimming pools, but there are a very limited number of sunbeds. For example at the luna rooftop pool there are just 6 beds. For the whole pool just 6. If you come at 11am, then there is a waitlist. Looks like a nightmare for such luxury hotel. Waitlist in each pool. Never seen that before. 2. The beach is small and there are rocks. Very dangerous to swim. Just 20 beds, and again waiting list 3. Huge territory, it would be nice to walk, but a lot of cars running all the time. 4. Restaurants quality is fine, though we had service problems. But they have no problems to give you the bill, just immediately. Please mind the prices (vines from 1 mln, food from 250k, beer from 125k, pizza 250k, steaks from 500k) plus 21% tax and service. 5. Rock bar is really great, but you may easily come from outside without staying in the hotel. Not many people after 9pm, lots of space. 6. No toilet brush in the toilet or hygienic shower. Overall experience is strange. Luxury hotel where you just swim in the pool and tasty eat. Is it real bali ? Bali is about ocean, sand, corals, eating in local warung cafe, moving through the island. Ayana for sure is not bali. 2 nights is the maximum to stay here.

A glimpse of heaven on earth

What a beautiful and sprawling property in a stunning cliffside location. It consists of three hotels ayana, segara and rimba all with distinct designs and characters, linked by a tram, with gorgeously renovated rooms and excellent service. There is also a hidden private beach Kubu beach accessible only by an elevator, with clear blue waters and little tide pools to frolic in. The legendary Rock Bar, a bar built into the side of the cliff is the best place to watch the sunset amidst crashing waves and cool DJ tunes. We had a party for 100 pax at the presidential villa perched on a cliff and had the best night of our lives complete w fireworks. The professionalism of the staff and the exquisite cuisine made the night all the more memorable. We partied on at "after rock" which is a new dance club on the property and had freshly made mie goreng which brought the party to another level! The fact that the owner stays on property makes a huge difference. The attention to detail and the passion are manifested in all aspects of this hotel. We had an unforgettable time and will surely be back soon. Esp so to experience the wonderful thalasso spa again.

Uluwatu Temple Tour - with Wahyu Made

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Wahyu Made was extremely kind, patient, and informative while on tour at Uluwatu Temple. He made sure that we were safe and well informed before the trip, and while walking. There was an additional guide who worked well with Wahyu also. I also appreciated, during prayer, how Wahyu guided our group through each step with confidence and reassurance. The overall kindness that Wahyu exhibited, along with his professionalism made the experience much more memorable and valuable. Thank you, Wahyu! Nashona and Kelli

We joined the Tebana Garden Tour and had such a wonderful time! Our guide, Bagus, made the whole experience so much fun – his explanations were clear, lively, and full of great stories. Thanks to him, we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend! 🌿✨
