Banyan Tree Bangkok

We arrived at Banyan Tree Bangkok for a couple of nights stay following a month in Malaysia & Thailand. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were exemplary. We checked in at the Club Lounge on the 19th floor and everything g was explained to us in detail whilst being offered complimentary drinks and canapés. Our luggage was taken to our rooms and around 45 minutes later we went to our respective rooms on the 48th floor. The rooms were pristine and very welcoming. We were able to select which type of pillows we wanted, the type of linen and what room fragrance we would like. We had breakfast in Vertigo each morning where there was a huge selection of both western and Asian cuisine, all of it delicious. On our last day we took advantage of the outdoor pool on 21st floor where there was chilled water and luxurious sunbeds. We also booked Vertigo rooftop restaurant for a fine dining experience and it didn’t disappoint. We had the 3 course menu with wine pairing and had a lovely table over looking the city. All in all, the perfect end to a month away in a beautiful hotel. The hotel staff are second to none and a credit to The Banyan Tree Group.

As per usual it is the outstanding customer service that shines, special mentions for all the staff in the executive lounge and the wonderful thai chef, and all the wonderfully helpful concierge team for whom nothing is too much trouble. Our stay at the Banyan Tree was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was faultless. The highlight, without a doubt, is the Vertigo and Moon Bar on the rooftop the 360-degree panoramic views of the city at sunset are simply mesmerizing.

We stayed here as a family with three boys (aged 8, 6, and 3). Even in winter, the heat can be quite intense for us Japanese, so spending quality time at the hotel was essential. This hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent pool, gym, and dining options. The highlight of our stay was the Muay Thai lesson for kids. During the one-hour session, the instructor was very patient and kept the children engaged the entire time. It felt like a fun exercise involving punches and kicks, and my boys absolutely loved it. A special thank you to Teacher Badminton for such a memorable experience!
