Hawks Cay Resort

Had a quick weekend stay at Hawks Cay Resort and was very impressed. We booked a standard king room, but it was far from standard—spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, with a large bathroom and an excellent shower. The staff was fantastic from start to finish. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk team was knowledgeable about the resort and provided outstanding customer service. Overall, a great experience, and we look forward to returning.

It was the best everything was clean people were friendly ..Met Bob La casse . He was a great guy very friendly and knowledgeable about the area the fishing and the places to go. I will be returning..

First, I will say this is my first ever review and I am only writing to save others disappointment. We rented a premium 3-bedroom house with a pool in The Sanctuary. We splurged on this as it was my son’s graduation trip. Upon check in we were told our house wasn’t ready. We had a car full of groceries, but waited. After 4:00 we began calling to inquire when it would be ready. No one was helpful or could offer any explanation just said we will call you when available. At almost 5:00 we were called. First disappointed. Walked in to our “luxury” accommodations to find major construction as our view from pool. Not only was it loud and went on for atleast 12 hours a day (even weekends) we didn’t want all the construction workers watching us swim. It was a big waste of money. Didn’t even eat on our porch. (We booked thru the resort…#7215…do NOT let them put you there). Website advertises water park opening Summer 2026. There is NO way that’s happening as I watched it being built and drilled every day. Not even close to ready. See pics. The website also advertised tons of amenities that weren’t offered or closed due to construction. (No dolphin experiences, no water toy rentals, no basketball courts, etc etc etc). The pool and lagoon were great, but not great enough to make the resort fee worthwhile when so much wasn’t available. We had friends who went and loved and sadly it just wasn’t our experience. We went off property for fun every day but one. (Pool and lagoon day). I did find a manager, Sherleen, who was really kind and nice. I called her from our back porch so she could hear the construction. They had no where to move us for another day (and who wants to move all the stuff and groceries two nights in). We also had booked a house so we were located right by our friends who were also in a house (but on the other side of the street so avoided the construction zone). We agreed to settle on money off each night, which was appreciated but given what we paid per night and all that I have listed above just not enough not to write this review. I have added photos but sure wish I could add video so you could hear how loud it was. We’d maybe try it again another time when things are back up in running. But I promise that won’t be anytime soon. See pics of just dirt for waterpark coming Summer 2026 lol.

Really enjoyed sitting out at the lagoon and Donnie was helpful with the paddle board rentals

Fantastic! Kim with transportation was amazing and was super helpful getting us back to the townhome with a toddler having a meltdown!
