Maradiva Villas Resort & Spa

Best resort I’ve ever stayed in. The room, facilities and service were all impeccable. The room was exceptionally clean, large and with a beautiful modern design. The bed is massive and the selection of pillows provided meant there’s something for everyone. There are indoor and outdoor showers plus a nice large bathtub. The outdoor shower is perfect after a swim. Worth noting the pool is only heated in winter, during our time it was at the ambient temperature. Upon arrival the concierges (Mariam and Aki) took our phone numbers and added us to a whatsapp so we could easily contact them if any issues. When time we had queries or issues they resolved it promptly. Outside of their working hours the room service was also very rapid to respond. Cleaners came twice a day to tidy the room and staff also cleaned the private pool upon request. Food on offer was exceptional due to the fairly new Cassine restaurant. The set menu each day provided healthy and delicious meals, some of the best I’ve had. Kayaking and other complementary water activities are offered on site and you can just turn up at the allocated times. I’m sure I’ve missed some things but the takeaway message should be that I would 10/10 recommend the Maradiva and I hope to one day go again.

We had a family holiday (4 couples) at Maradiva. Wow - what an exceptional experience. The resort is quite stunning with amazing grounds, lovely grounds and really well spaced out making it very serene. They catered really well for us all as we are all vegetarian. Add to this the fantastic service levels and enthusiastic staff at reception, the restaurants and bars - without exception and too many to name. They are so responsive and always with a smile. Thank you all at Maradiva for making our stay so special and memorable.

This is the best hotel we have ever been to. The ambience, the food, the staff, have all been 7*! We were a family of 8 celebrating a 90th birthday and 40th anniversary. Everyone took so much care of us and especially of our parents. We were not treated like clients but like family by everyone at the hotel. They made so much effort with the vegetarian food and created a whole special vegetarian menu for us at every meal - it was delicious, our thanks to the chefs. The staff at the Cassine restaurant for breakfast and dinner were awesome as were the bar staff Special mentions to Akeel, Gavin, Elodie, Manish, Anacy, Pravin who made it sos so special all the time Our thanks to Mariam and Aki who responded to our every request with a smile and ‘oh yes no problem’ attitude. So congratulations to the staff and especially to the management who obviously train and inspire the staff where they all look so happy to be here. We look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful accommodation, grounds and people. Never felt so relaxed, comfortable and at home anywhere.Will be back soon.
