Jeremy at the front desk who checked us in was great. Explained everything and gave clear directions to our rooms and amenities. Room was clean. Bathroom has no fans. Ice machine did not have any ice. The pool was nice and bar there was fast and friendly.

Dated and Dingy

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

I really wanted to like this property, the location looked so beautiful, but regrettably, this hotel really disappointed. The biggest issue with this hotel, is that it needs a top to bottom renovation but at the same time, the staff is clearly not caring for the property that they do have. Pros: Breakfast was great and very reasonably priced. Overall, service was satisfactory but lacked anything special. Cons: extremely dated rooms, dark and dingy corridors. The dinginess begins as soon as you enter the property, where you're overwhelmed with a sickly-sweet perfume (being used to cover up a sewage smell that permeates the property) only to walk under a chandelier that is flickering as there appears to be an electrical issue. Walk down the dark and dirty hallways and you can easily find trash and lint lining the walls everywhere you go. It's clear that the property hasn't received any type of renovation since it opened as a Ritz Carlton in 2003. And just wait until you get to your room, where you'll find a state-of-the art iHome using the 16-pin iPod/iPhone adapter that Apple retired in...2012. No USB ports or outlets on that side of the bed, and since wireless charging wasn't broadly available until 2017, this iHome simply can't charge your phone. Float into the oversized bathroom and you might think "oh wow, this is beautiful" but just wait until you see the scum on all of the bathroom features. I complained to staff about the shower head, as it was disgusting, the cleaned it the next day and it looked great. And while I'm thankful for the rapid response to clean the showerhead, the fact that they let it get so dirty in the first place is just too damning. The bed was also hellacious, it was so old and deformed that it had a valley in the middle of the bed, causing both of us to roll into the center. I checked the tag and the mattress was almost as old as the iHome (manufactured in 2014). And it's really no surprise that things are in this condition, the hotel is still utilizing as-needed cleanings, even though this is not acceptable under Hilton brand standards! Is it hard to request daily cleaning at check in? No. But the staff is clearly assuming that a decent number of guests won't request cleaning, saving them money, but that means that the rooms just aren't getting routinely cleaned, leading to the scum buildup that I found. You just shouldn't stay here. If the property gets the full renovation that it desperately needs, I would consider it, but until then, you're better off at the Hampton in Henderson.
