I was unhappy with my stay here. The rooms were too hot and needed maintenance done on the A/C and then the A/C shook the rooms at night and were very loud. The lack of cleanliness and attention to clean the rooms was incredibly disappointing. Even when I asked for housekeeping to come to the room, all they did was make the bed and change the towels. Zero cleaning to the rest of the room. Room service was also a huge disappointment. No person to take orders on the other end of a phone, yet guests are expected to order online? When I did order online it took hours to get to us and then somehow the order was lost from the online ordering. Finally a person let me make an order over the phone... Very disappointed in this resort. I was here for a wedding taking place on the grounds and unfortunately cannot recommend anyone stay here.

Beautiful location in scenic Lake Tahoe. Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food is very good and pool looks like fun for families. The rooms are definitely tired and the property is desperately in need of renovations. The housekeeping service only came once in a three night stay? Also they charge $35 for self parking for a lot that’s a five minute walk away. I chose valet at $60 only to wait 10 minutes each time for the staff to walk five minutes to get car? It seems like the property owners not Marriott are cutting corners to maximize revenue.

The hotel might have shined at the 1960 Winter Olympics but is now so outdated and tired. Desperately needs a remodel, and staff are rude and unhelpful.

My rental vehicle was effectively vandalized with a large sticker on the window after self-parking in the wrong spot that wasn't marked when I arrived to check in at 3am after 8 hours of flight delays. After that, my hotel room door locked itself after I left and returning to the room caused damage to the door frame and the hotel charged me $300 for repairs. I spend 150+ nights per year in hotels on work travel and this was the worst hospitality experience I have ever had. 0/10

Nice location, but the resort needs an overhaul. Underwhelming customer service and problems with having our suite serviced by housekeeping. Rooms were clean but outdated and rough around the edges. There were some cute shops at the resort but many of them were closed on the weekend. Self-parking is $35 per day and you must walk a quarter mile to get to the resort.
