At some point when I was having drinks served to me on my own tray table by my side in the Library I thought to myself "this is really nice". The Castle Hill Resort and Spa is really an extraordinary experience. Luxurious rooms in the Inn, luxurious meals in the restaurant and luxurious massages in the Spa. I needed R & R and I certainly got that. One afternoon I just sat in the Library and read all afternoon until tea arrived at five. There is no elevator and all the rooms are on either the second or third floors so carrying luggage up the stairs by yourself was a bit of a pain, but since it was the last work I did for the entire visit, I soon forgot about it. Registration was awkward since you have to register down the hill at their Pointe hotel not at the Castle up the hill itself. That said, the staff was just outstanding. They were helpful, polite and friendly. I have to say that I absolutely would love to go back a second time.
