Manava Beach Resort and Spa Moorea

Can't say enough good things about Manava Resort. The grounds, rooms, and amenities were romantic, peaceful, and inviting. The staff was always friendly and ready with a ia orana! Honeymoon bungalow was well-kept, and daily service was attentive and efficient. Concierge helped so much as far as excursion booking was concerned. Wife and I had an amazing time here and will cherish the memory forever. Mauruuru roa!

Rooms are nice and clean. We stayed most of our nights in a Beach front Bungalow that was next door to the dive centre/local jetty and our view was of the overwater bungalows! It was not relaxing nor peaceful. I questioned reception regarding price of the bungalow being the same as the others that had clear views of ocean, a proper beach front and peace and quiet. I got crickets as a response! They should not charge the same amount for the two bungalows that don't have nice views/have to put up with constant noise and the so called beach front of approx 2 metres of sand. On the plus side. - The dive centre staff and diving was excellent. The little shop that sells pearls/gifts etc was excellent and pricing was a lot better than in the village. Also, a % of money from sales goes to looking after stray animals.

3 star motel masquerading as a luxury beach resort. The beach is virtually non existent (but the pool is lovely) . The resort is a little dated and could use some updated. The food is ok and the staff/service is typically very friendly and attentive. Pricing is mid range for this part of the world . The onsite dive center was 5 star with a wonderful staff. Moorea okay but 2 nights were enough. Bora Bora stole the show for this trip .

3 star hotel with a 0 star “beach” Diving operator was fantastic but everything else is meh…especially for the price Bed was like sleeping on the floor it was so firm Property is slightly dated

Nice hotel at a good place. Villas good equipped and good room service. If food is also important to you, you will be frustrated…..
