Once again, we were extremely satisfied, and we booked already a new stay end of summer. Happy to be back soon. Every morning we enjoy the rooftop breakfast. The breakfast staff exceeded all our expectations. Everyone was friendly, highly motivated, and always greeted guests with a genuine smile. Our room was a little on the darker side due to the small window, but this did not bother us at all. The room was spacious, featured high ceilings, and was with excellent lighting. Location: the main shopping streets are right outside the door and all major attractions can easily be reached on foot. In additional include valet parking, a lovely rooftop pool, and an on-site hairdresser as well as a beauty and spa. We highly recommend this hotel.

We travelled to Munich as a group and our husbands went to Dachau so we went for a spa day. The staff were lovely and the Manager, Emilia (I think) was amazing. I had a little mishap and she couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. She had a lovely sense of humour and ensured that I was well taken care of. The venue is lovely, with views over the city centre and you are in earshot of the midday chimes of the Marienplatz.

We stayed here one night before our first river cruise with Tauck cruise. We arrived 8:30am and we couldn’t check in until 3pm. We kept asking about our room about 4 times before 3. In our defense we had been traveling for over 15 hours. Around 3:30pm I asked again and thank goodness the manager heard me and got us into a room. We were exhausted so we quickly ordered room service, which was an exceptional Wiener schnitzel. Thank you for the great service and food. Can we get your Wiener schnitzel recipe?

We had a mixed experience at the hotel overall. Some parts were good in terms of service and facilities, while others could definitely be improved. The rooms are only partially renovated, and the air conditioning was unfortunately very weak, which made the stay less comfortable at times. On the positive side, the porter team was fantastic — always friendly, funny, and very welcoming. A special thank you goes to Concierge Michael, who truly made our Mother’s Day stay in Munich unforgettable. He exceeded all of my expectations and requests, anticipated our needs proactively, and fulfilled every wish with exceptional professionalism and kindness. His outstanding service was the highlight of our stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, but what makes it special is the location. With a streetcar right outside the door and Marienplatz a three-minute walk away, all the sights of old town Munich are an easy stroll away. We walked the entire English Garden (Englischer Garten) and even made it to Theresienwiese for Fruhlingsfest! Our room was beautiful, and the staff throughout the hotel were kind and professional. It would be hard to stay anywhere else during our next visit to Munich.
