We were greeted on arrival with a friendly receptionist who checked us in very quickly. The room was spacious, bright with intecivle views of central park. Great guest relations. I would stay here again, thank you

The rooms only have 3 standing lamps, putting on my makeup was very difficult, the bathtub had no plug and after a long flight I had to wait 45 minutes at 2 am for it to be fixed and then it took 20 minutes to fill. The room felt filthy, the front desk staff was surly and rude ,the breakfast on the top floor was the most disappointing buffet i have experienced in a hotel in 20 years.I booked this as had wonderful memories of staying three times before in the 90s and early 2000s I could not wait to check out.

I traveled with my mom to NYC to see the Broadway show Ragtime at Lincoln Center, and the premiere of the Earth Wind and Fire documentary at The Beacon Theater. Accessible taxis and ride shares are difficult to come by in the city, so most of the time I just push to my destinations. the Park Lane was very conveniently located for the two venues we were visiting for our shows. We made the walks to the two theaters and back within a half hour (doing a normal walking/rolling pace) on a beautiful spring day in the city. I am ambulatory wheelchair user who uses hand controls to drive. We pulled our car into the entrance at 58th street, and the staff met us at the door and had the parking attendant park our vehicle. The check-in desk counter has a section that is lowered so it was easy to reach the counter top. I reserved an accessible room, and while the main living space and bathroom itself was very spacious for my chair, the only 'complaint' is that the turn-around radius coming in and out of the bathroom was a bit difficult for me to navigate, because of the wall that was outside of the bathroom (photo attached). I was able to manage it, but it would be beneficial if there was more space in that area. The hotel staff was very friendly, and always offered assistance and asked if I needed any assistance getting around with my wheelchair. The hotel is conveniently located near the 5th ave. shopping and there are many restaurants nearby as well. I look forward to visiting this hotel again.

Poor room. Lights not working. Air conditioner noisy. Very unimpressive.
