Reviews for The Dominick Hotel

Don’t stay here

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

The staff treated us poorly upon check in, and check out only greeting my husband to the point where they would look around me and only to my husband where they had to redirect them to talk to me. The front door men straight up ignored us. Additionally the staff treated us poorly when we asked about why the elevators took no less then 30 min stating its “math deal with it” in a semi aggressive manner and in a manner to demean me infront of the 20+ guests waiting. Additionally we received no information why the color of the water turned from clear to brown, I still don’t know if the water was safe. For a fancy hotel I was expecting friendly staff, an elevator that worked, safe water.

Nice rooms. Horrible experience with elevator call times. Not acceptable

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Room was nice. Not much counter space in bathroom. Mini bar fridge was broken - drinks were room temperature. We called and reported it and they just brought an empty fridge to the room. We wanted the cold beverages in the mini bar. The elevators were horrible - you are losing customers. Not sure I would stay again solely based on how long it took to call the elevators. Up to 20 minutes! All your guests were upset about this. We paid a lot of money for the stay and this was highly inconvenient. Paid for an upgrade to a higher floor - we would have been better on a lower floor with the elevator situation.

The worst housekeeping service, the carpet was durty, no vaccun cleaning, the bathroon floor not clean either, we had to complain several times, waist 25 minutes to waiting the elevator every time, it is not worth the price

NY finest!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

NY is a place we frequent often for both work and pleasure. The Dominick is our go to. Location, service, amenities and most importantly consistency. The staff from A to Z are incredible. I don’t just recommend the Dominick, I highly recommend it!
