Hotel Poseidon

This hotel is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in My husband and I are just home from 4 nights in Hotel Poseidon. The itself is truly a traditional Italian hotel in its decor. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job and the turn down service in the evenings was a nice touch. The view of Positano from the bedroom balcony was breathtaking. Definitely book a room with a balcony! The terrace where we had breakfast every morning again shared these stunning views. And the food was fresh and delicious. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful with unbelievable views, and the cocktail bar by the pool is fantastic. The location of the hotel is amazing. Walking distance to the beach and so many gorgeous restaurants and shops. The best thing of all though is the staff. They are so attentive and nothing is too much trouble. We were made to feel special and welcome throughout our stay. The attention to detail in the service is like nothing I’ve experienced in any other hotel, and yet it’s unobtrusive and easy. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and I will definitely be back. Positano itself is like a little piece of heaven. I cannot wait to visit again.

Our experience at Hotel Poseidon was a perfect 10/10! The location is unbeatable, the views are absolutely breathtaking, and the exceptional service made our stay truly unforgettable. The property was also impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel both luxurious and welcoming. My husband and I spent three nights (junior suite) here celebrating our 10-year anniversary, and it was the perfect place to relax. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. We were given a tour of the property by the granddaughter of the original owners, which added such a personal and meaningful touch to our stay. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sunshine and taking in the incredible views. On our first evening, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, and it was easily one of the best meals we enjoyed during our trip through Italy. We also loved having aperitivo on the terrace. Each morning, we looked forward to coming downstairs for breakfast and enjoying a peaceful cappuccino before exploring. The hotel's location made it incredibly easy to walk to the beach, browse the shops, and experience everything Positano has to offer since it's right on the main road. The staff also helped arrange our transportation from Naples to the hotel and our return trip, making our travel completely stress-free. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely stay at Hotel Poseidon again and can't wait to recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Positano!

Such an amazing family holiday at this super property. We stayed at the WOW suite with an 800sq.ft. toom & a view to die for. Among the few hotels to have a super poolm deck and views. Special mention for Guise, Margot, Peppe + Alessia, Andrea & infact all members of the team, including pool & restaurant staff & housekeeping. Big shoutout to Guise's knowledge, prompt responses and recommendations as the concierge were priceless. As researched & promised, the location is the best in positano and the bar & restaurant has among the best view in town. I loved driving their 1971 VW Beetle oround the town and that completed the near blissful experience. note : If u stay here, dont book day excursions around Amalfi Coast, just enjoy the pool, food, walks , shops & the location. Hotel Poseidon is a truly beautiful hotel, perfectly located just beyond the bustle of Positano's main center. It offers the ideal balance of convenience and tranquility. The rooms are charming and elegant, featuring beautiful Italian tile floors and breathtaking views from the balcony overlooking Positano and the sea. What makes this hotel especially memorable is the exceptional staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making your stay perfect. They go above and beyond to help with anything you need. Breakfast at Il Tridente restaurant is a highlight in itself. The food is delicious, and the panoramic views of Positano are simply spectacular. Waking up each morning to that view was unforgettable. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Poseidon to anyone visiting Positano.

Wanted to share my experience to help other first time visitors of the positano area and hotel Poseidon. First and foremost this hotel feels nothing short of 5 stars from the location, beauty and service. Location - it was very tough for me to figure out where to stay whether it be lower of higher in positano. After 4 days you realize that positano is pretty much split into 3 levels. Bottom level has beautiful hotels and quick access to the beach, but to get to the main area with all the views and shopping you have to climb an enormous staircase and it’s pretty tough and exhausting. The mid level is where hotel Poseidon is and it’s step your on the “main road” that has ALL of the amazing views, restaurants and unlimited shipping. Honestly the place and location to be and hotel Poseidon gives you that. You can still make your way down to the lower area down the stairs but it’s really necessary to be on the middle level or you’ll be up and down those stairs a TON! SERVICE Hotel Poseidons staff goes above and beyond for anything you need. We had a couple issues come up and they were there for us and just one phone call away The views and food are spectacular from this hotel and the photos and style of room do it no justice online. You just have to see and feel the vibes of the city before you judge the hotel photos online! Book this hotel! You won’t regret it!
