Overlooking a world-renowned stretch of golden beach, this fabulous boutique hotel welcomes you with classic elegance, contemporary sophistication, and the relaxed and playful ambiance that only Southern California can provide. Spacious rooms are dramatic and inviting, with sleek lines, deep chocolate and pale cream palates, and dark wood accents adding a decidedly designer touch. Natural sunlight filters through large picture windows, while the panoramic views of ocean, cityscape and mountains will take your breathe away. Huntley Santa Monica Beach is truly as amazing indoors as it is under the sunny California skies.

A recent stay at the Huntley felt more like home than hotel. Over several weeks, my husband and I were lucky to interact with the exceptionally willing and pleasant staff. Everyone from the valet to housekeeping to reception teams seemed to take pride in their work, always greeting you with an earnest smile and asking if there’s anything they could do for you. Brett and Sasho were two bellmen that went out of their way to be helpful and made our stay that much more comfortable. Greta and Blake from reception/the front office were particularly eager to help with any request big or small, and were the epitome of hospitality. They both have a calm, relaxed demeanor and are sharp, quick and professional. It is clear they enjoy what they do and I found myself looking forward to seeing them every day. Apart from the fabulous staff and clean facilities, the Huntley was located perfectly- close to restaurants and shops, the Wed & Sat farmers market, and the ocean. I would point out that if you’re on a higher floor, the elevators are quite slow. They also have a small gym and jacuzzi, but for a Preferred LVX hotel, we expected better amenities. If those aren’t must-haves for you, the Huntley is a great option. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, so much so that we’ve already booked our next one.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was beautiful, the room clean, and the amenities thoughtful. Check-in took a little longer due to a room change, but the team handled it well and even upgraded us. Room service and turndown were excellent, and the champagne and fruit were a lovely touch. Overall, exceptional service and we would definitely return.

We reserved a room block at the Huntley Hotel for our wedding, and would easily do it all over again. During the entire planning process, the team was very helpful and in constant communication with us. They made it so easy and were willing to work with us as needed. The rooms are beautiful, with great amenities in each. We even stayed prior to our wedding for tasting event, and it was such a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel is an easy walk to the Third Street Promenade and even Santa Monica Pier. It's right by the beach, which also makes for great views. The staff from the lobby to the Penthouse restaurant made it such a great experience, I'd recommend it to anyone staying in the area!

This hotel is very nice. I booked it because it was a 5-star hotel. I only stayed for one night. Check-in time is 3pm so I understand that I came in earlier around 2:30pm and the room wasn't ready. So, we waited in the lobby. 3:30pm came around and the room still wasn't. They gave us a late check-out because of this. Then they put 2 separate charges on my card and the online receipt that I got had 3 charges with a total charge less than what I got charged. The issue here isn't the charges as I may just be misunderstanding the billing but the issue comes from when I called to try to clarify the billing. I spoke with an individual named Rod, and immediately this individual picked up the phone and asked in a slightly annoyed way. "What is your question?", when I tried to give context about why I am calling and what my question was, he just pretty rudely asked again, "What is your question?". I already got frustrated with the attitude, so I respond in kind with my question. I ask him about the billing and sends me 3 receipts that I have who's total balance is no where near what I got charge. So I ask him about that and he just told me to add the numbers. The total charge on the billing is literally on the receipt in black and white and he repeatedly tells me, to just add the number and see the total equals to what I was charged. I have three receipts that he sent me in real time and I don't see it. So instead of trying to clarify it for me. I started getting frustrated and I admittedly used some foul language to emphasize that the number does not equal to the charge and he threated to hang up on me. Then tells me, "You can talk to my manager". The hotel itself is nice but this experience just infuriates me.

Fabulous hotel with a fantastic rooftop bar and perhaps, the best bartender in the world. Special shout out to David. He’s a true professional.
