First trip to VT and we were so happy with our stay. We stayed in a suite that afforded our family more than enough room to relax. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our days by the pool and hot tubs. We had delicious breakfast meals at Flannel. Service was great.....most servers remembering drink orders and preferences of our family all week. The list of activities and games were endless but we really enjoyed walking across the street to the recreation path and taking in the scenery and streams. Our favorite part of the week was making friends with so many other guests . Can't wait to come again when construction is complete.

We just stayed at Top Notch for 4 nights and were pretty disappointed with our overall experience! whilst the setting of the hotel is stunning, and the staff are friendly enough, our accommodation was that of a 2 star motel at best. As a family of 4 with 2 little ones we booked a larger room, one of the ‘residences’ a separate area from the main hotel building. Whilst it was spacious, with the 2 bedrooms upstairs, it was falling apart, and just entirely dated and tired, with peeling wallpaper and loose fixtures coming off the walls…pokey little bathrooms, no stand alone shower, creepy closets and questionable beige carpets… not even water, a courtesy umbrella, (and its a long walk to reception outside in the rain!) no cleaning service…just a total rip off and we are so gutted we chose this hotel for the second leg of our summer trip! Ps we are now at Riverwalk in Loon mountain and it’s head and shoulders above Top Notch for quality and cost!!!

Overall, the hotel is in severe need of a makeover. The outside of the building is chipped and peeling with what appears to be mold just coloration. The rooms are a two star Quality Inn at best. Did it scuffed up furniture. The beds are saggy and soft. Dated bathrooms, paint touchup needed everywhere. Room temperature, difficult to control. We booked this on a black Friday special so it was reasonable. Indoor pool and hot tub were OK.

I went there for my birthday. I didn’t give them 5 stars bc I always thought the first impression is the most impressive and important and my greeting at check-in wasn’t friendly. I never been there so the young girl who checked me in gave me a lounge card and told me here this is to access to lounge area. She didn’t walk me there and show me around and what I was supposed to be doing. I had to ask guests in the area if I was in the right place. I didn’t even know that my card would open my locker. My massage was good but no great, I asked to work on my neck and felt more like tapping on it. The pressure was good though but the technique felt very inexperienced therapist. He was nice and attentive but a bit robotic. I loved my facial, I’m obsessed…she women who did my facial I wish i remembered her name, she was amazing. My face was glowing. The lady who did my hair was great, very sweet and made my hair feel fuller. I noticed dust everywhere, the cealing in the shower, fireplace and notice some water damage in the ceiling and black stain in the massage treatment door. For the price tag I was expecting spotless spa, but it a bit outdated. Some staff were really nice but other a bit snobby. The young woman who checked me out was very sweet. Overall the place was very relaxing and quiet which it’s what I was looking for to celebrate my birthday. I wanted to stay there. :) My suggestion is young staff could benefit from customer service satisfaction training and dust free place and fresh pain. Everything else was amazing! Thank you, I will definitely go back.
