About the Hotel
The tree houses at Aqua Wellness Resort serve two purposes. The first, obviously, is to inspire plenty of “I can’t believe we’re doing this!” exclamations, which you’ll catch yourself uttering as you sip champagne in an aerial plunge pool as the sun sinks into Redondo Bay. The other reason for tree living is environmental: By building above the forest floor, Aqua is minimizing its impact on a delicate ecosystem. Get up close and personal with nature – after all, it’s in your living room – and let the yoga classes, organic spa treatments, and healing hillside location work their magic.

The hotel has lots of noisy construction. The WIFI did not work AT ALL IN OUR ROOM. It ONLY worked in the restaurant
The hotel did not have any of the amenities offered. No horseback riding. No hiking. No beach or water activities. Nothing except noisy construction. The property was in bad physical condition. Lots of wear. The restaurant was very slow. 1 hour wait to receive free breakfast. Terrible visit. I will never return.

Worst new yesads eve
Went with my GF, Nothing positive stood out, everything was a mess, my AC, didn’t work at all, it was so hot, no WiFi like advertised, shower head a mess, even the fridge didn’t work. No customer service at all. Total catastrophe!

My 10-year-old son and I had a fantastic stay at Aqua Oceanfront Resort on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly situated right on the ocean. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—exactly what you want for a relaxing coastal getaway. The service truly stood out. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, but a special shout-out to Ernesto, who went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. He was incredibly helpful, took the time to give us great travel recommendations for our other destinations, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience. We felt well taken care of from start to finish and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend Aqua Oceanfront Resort to anyone looking for great service, beautiful surroundings, and a memorable experience in Nicaragua.

“Hotel was beautiful - a magical, tree top oasis. There were a few blips - service was slow but courteous. We had a bad experience with one of the excursions, but management was very willing to listen to our concerns. Perfect, serene setting replete with monkeys. Should know: MANY steps, but if you are in reasonable shape, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, the trip from the airport to the hotel was every bit of 2 1/2 hours & bumpy ride.”
