One of my favorite places to stay other than Tuscany Italy. The manager andrew and his staff went over and above to make my group of 80 guests traveling with our supercars through the canyons, feel comfortable once again. All of our needs, questions and concerns were answered professionally timely, and without hesitation. Highly suggest this resort. Just get gas before you get there.

Gateway Canyons Resort is a one of a kind destination like no other. I'm a repeat guest (dozens of visits) and the place is heaven on earth to me. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests. This place is all about location, location, location. And the lodging is off the charts, especially the individual casitas with views to die for. Photos are from last year's visit in the fall.

This survey should not and does not reflect our interactions with the staff at the resort. Everyone we interacted with was amazing, especially the Front Office Manager, Andrew! The employees and the location of the resort are the reason we even scored the resort this high. This review is directed at upper management, Noble House Resorts and owner John Hendricks. The location and scenery around the resort is amazing, but the resort itself feels like it's on a lifeline compared to what it once was. Neglected repairs and maintenance are apparent everywhere! The grounds have numerous broken and missing landscape lights, dead or missing vegetation, ponds full of algae and walkways that obviously requiring replacement. We stayed in two different rooms, including a casita that had a broken hot tub, A/C not functioning, no hot water, carpet buckled, rugs that were dirty and stained, drape pull rods missing, spider webs everywhere, low water pressure at various fixtures, etc. The spa sauna and steam room had loose shower fixtures, worn off buttons on the control panels and were not functioning correctly. The auto museum and helicopter tours are no longer in operation. The goats and sheep are in a pen with no apparent purpose. The horses don't have access to a shelter that all of them can fit under at once. There is one restaurant open with a limited menu and no indication that the other would be open soon. The resort is woefully understaffed across all job positions and is asking too much from the employees that are actually are premises and interacting with the guests. Noble House should be embarrassed to charge the rates they do and set expectations so high, then let their guests down once they arrive and have time to experience the resort. It's readily apparent that Noble House and maybe even John Hendricks himself are neglecting the resort and doing the bare minimum to keep it operating. The resort is withering on the vine and it shows, especially compared to many of the other resorts we have stayed at in California, Arizona, Hawaii and Canada.

I had a great stay. This place is incredibly beautiful and could not recommend it more. Definitely pack snacks if you have food intolerances since you're so far away from other dining options. I loved how dog friendly it was and the hiking trails went on for miles and were so beautiful. The room was extremely comfortable, inviting and well taken care of. I loved sitting with the fire pit and the fireplace at night. I took private horse riding lessons and learned so much.

Everyone should stay at this resort at least once. Beautiful location, incredible views, wonderful, caring staff. Pools are clean and well kept. Excellent venue! Anything we needed, staff jumped right in to help! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable!

I'm a fifth-generation Coloradan, am a stalwart fan of Gate Gateway Canyons for multiple reasons, and this year's visit was the 5th year for our family. The first included my father and his nurse/companion when Gateway was just being built. Every time we go, I am further impressed with the integrity with which this vision was conceived and is being carried out. I speak with staff when I visit and every single staff member is consistent: The place is wonderful, the seasonal activities are fun, and they love the area and the vision for Gateway. All this by way of saying that I truly appreciate the hard work and emphasis on a private yet comprehensive experience on the Dolores near the Colorado Plateau.

I just wanted to take a minute to write about what a wonderful facility Gateway Canyons is. The accommodations were beautiful, food was fantastic and the staff was great to work with. We received an informative tour of the museum and they even helped us find the game in the Kiva Café Sunday morning. We told ourselves we would get up there from the day I toured with the VCB and it just didn't happen. I'm sorry we waited so long but it was well worth it. I'm glad to see the project continuing to grow given the economy. Thank you again for a fabulous getaway!
