Interview with Wine World Tours Chairman & CEO David Marchese
A) We start with a luxury template of accommodations, cultural and historical activities, wineries, restaurants and artisan experiences and then we personalize and customize it to meet our clients’ tastes and interests.
Q) Can you explain what makes a wine world tour appealing to travelers as a vacation?
A) The tours are meticulously planned and executed; customized and personalized as stated and as a result they are educational; they are fun; and they are profoundly memorable…at least that’s what our clients tell us.
Q) What advice do you have for guests who are going on one of your tours?
A) We provide a wine questionnaire that measures the client’s interests, experience and knowledge of wine and related subjects. We only ask for an accurate response so we can then plan the right winery visits, the best restaurants and artisan visits as well as the important cultural and social activities that will make their experience special.

What a wonderful country! We loved our trip to Chile... Our tour guide, Heriberto, was great. He's very knowledgeable and a nice person. He kept us entertained while on the road with history and stories of the wine industry in Chile. Our lunch with Pedro Grand was amazing. What an opportunity. After our lunch with him, Pedro took us over to his winery for a tour and a barrel sample. Thank you again for providing us with a memorable tour.

Anonymous· 8 months agoThe trip you arranged for us was really great. We really enjoyed the mixture of small boutique wineries and larger ones. The people we met at all of the vineyards were extremely nice and really knowledgeable.
The hotels were great, especially Casa Real which offered superb food and service and a garden that was magnificent...We were in the new part of the hotel that is built together with the museum and has an open view of a mammoth in the museum from the second floor of the hotel! We also got to see Lapostolle's new facility which was really not open to the public yet. It is an architectural masterpiece—so beautiful and peaceful. We also had a taste of their premier wine which will be made there and agreed that it really is a fine wine.
Last but not least, our driver, Juan, was excellent. His English is great and his knowledge of history made the whole trip even better.
Thanks again for arranging the trip and we will certainly let all our friends know about your capacity for arranging a wonderful trip.
