Not wheelchair accessible
I’ve stayed in this hotel many times and have always had fond memories. However my recent stay has left me very disappointed. I’m in a wheelchair post knee reconstruction surgery and this hotel does not have a ramp. YOU CANNOT ENTER OR EXIT INDEPENDENTLY in a wheelchair. Every time you want to enter or exit the building you need to call a manager to escort you through back service hallways and elevators. I didn’t even get to see the beautiful inside of the hotel. While staff were apologetic during my stay, nobody seemed overly concerned that it is a legal requirement to be accessible and this was a major oversight during their construction.

Outstanding hotel in Toronto, Canada
Great hotel and a great location. The hotel was part of a Via Rail package we took from Toronto to Vancouver. Great location across from the train station and tons of restaurants and shopping all around. Outstanding room and service you would expect from a Fairmont Hotel. Would stay again.

Luxurious, Stunning Hotel
Amazing in every way. Definitely dine at Reign and the Library Bar. The ambiance everywhere in this hotel is wonderful.

Bad experience
We stayed for 3 nights, very good location but not recommended if you need to use a stroller or a handicap chair. Due to renovations (until fall 2026), every time you want to enter or leave the hotel, you need to call a manager to send someone with special access to escort you through multiple floors and doors to use a special elevator. Imagine wasting 30 minutes every leave or entrance. Also we requested a fridge to the room (extra cost), and they provided us with one that had the temperature control knob busted which froze our food. We had to ask them multiple times to replace it, by the time they did (48 hours) the food was spoiled (baby couldn’t have special milk or food we brought with us).

Obsessed with the gold floor
We stayed on the gold floor and had the pleasure of being served and helped by Grace!! She gave us so many amazing options and helpful ideas to take our kids around the city and have a memorable experience!! Thank you Grace for all your help! If you’re going to stay, spend the extra and get the gold floor for Grace and the delicious daily spreads!!

We had a great time. The hotel has excellent staff and service. The food is outstanding and the cocktails are too. It’s is a perfect place to go for 2 nights. This package deal you offer is fantastic. I will do it again.
