Reviews for Biltmore Hotel Miami - Coral Gables

Roach hotel for five star price

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

$500 a night: - upon arrival elevators did not work; had to take back of the house service elevators - this hotel is in the middle of nowhere - needed Tylenol at night; no chance to get it 12am to 9am … there is no kiosk; concierge is totally unhelpful - cockroaches running in the room - the whole place is enormous … old … not kept well. Windows facing a hole in a wall covered with piece of wood. Ridiculous - shame on Biltmore and its staff.

Incredibly beautiful

We absolutely loved this resort. The pool is breathtaking: one of the largest I've ever experienced, also with Venetian statues, and a couple of waterfalls. The entire resort is stunning. Especially the restarante Fontana and it's courtyard. Service was also outstanding. We had a couple is issues that they resolved elegantly and promptly. Very good recognition of our AMEX FHR benefits, as well. Fitness center was world class! Exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning. Fyi, 20% service fee is automatically added for bars and restarants. But the waiters were very good.

Unique place to stay. If you like history you might enjoy it. Golf was pricey for the condition of the course golf.

If you like history this is a good place to stay. The staff were nice but most spoke Spanish which made communicating difficult. We played golf and thought the course was in bad shape for $200 a round. The room was clean.

Our favorite place in Miami

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Biltmore again, the ambiance, and its history, the beautiful surroundings, the impressive pool, and the comfortable rooms. It is just our taste. Dinner at Fairways was also delicious, with excellent all-around service. In our experience, the service at breakfast is always a bit hit-or-miss; there is some room for improvement. Anyway, we had a fantastic stay.
