Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa

We stayed a couple of nights with our dog at the end of December 2025. Really impressed. Our room on the lower level was perfect. Comfy bed, great bathroom and shower, and walk out to the hot tub and pool. The restaurant and pub had great food choices and service. Guest services made quick arrangements for return of some clothing I left behind. All around great experience and the value for money was hard to beat. We will definitely be back. I usually like to throw in something that needs improvement but honestly can’t think of anything during our stay.

The resort gets a big sad face for our experience. We booked a room for ourselves early in the year then added a room for a friend a few months later. Both rooms were booked identical, top (third) floor. When we arrived at about 3 pm one room was not ready so we waited in the other room, top floor, gas fireplace. We were told our room was ready on the second floor. Ok but not what we expected. Then the fireplace does not work and guest services advised they forgot to mention it did not work in that room. End of December after a 36+ hour day of travel from Australia and outside temp about zero a fireplace would be nice and is one of the perks of this hotel. Upon my rather snotty and pointed complaint the offer was made for 50% off the rate and 2 breakfasts. Nice enough but very disappointing when we planned an upmarket stay to finish our big trip before driving home to mid island. This is the second time we’ve been disappointed at this beautiful hotel. It will be a long time before we book again even though management tried to make it better.

We had one night at the Brentwood resort and it was lovely. The King room had a corner fireplace and a balcony with a view of the harbour. The staff left chocolates for the birthday we were celebrating. The room was lovely and welcoming with a nice bathroom. We were offered a glass of Salt Spring cider when we arrived and the check in was fast and easy. Parking was complimentary for guests. We decided to have dinner in the pub and we were not disappointed. The new Kale salad on the menu was delicious as was the spicy tuna roll and the birria tacos. They offered a selection of Sheringham Gins for my Gin and Tonic and a good selection of beer. The ambiance of the hotel was perfect for a get away and next time we will take advantage of the spa!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this resort . Stunning views and room with gorgeous fireplace . Very close to Victoria and highlights there. Cute pub in the hotel and excellent service there . We will come back and spend more time there.

What a special place! Our villa was comfortable, luxurious, and quiet. Bonus was the marina and water ride to Butchart Gardens. Good food at both restaurants
