The moment you arrive at Cap Maison Resort & Spa, located on the sublime island of Saint Lucia, you will feel as if you are a privileged castaway. The natural beauty and airbrushed ocean bluff setting is what makes this hideaway a true standout. The design is equal parts rustic and refined, coupled with Spanish-Caribbean flair. Behind a collection of white-washed structures are one, two and three-bedroom suites with varied floor plans that include split-level designs, spacious bedrooms and private rooftop pools. Folding doors push back to seamlessly mix the outside with the indoors. As for the views and service, both are deserving of high marks. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the secluded sandy beach, which rests several feet below, seems practically deserted even when the resort is at full capacity.

We stayed at Cap Maison for our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome. A special mention to Kevin on reception, who was always so friendly and helpful. The hotel made our honeymoon feel extra special with a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival, and every evening the housekeeping team left fresh flowers and a poem during turndown service. Our room was spotless throughout, and the sea views were absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we loved relaxing on the beach, where there were always sunbeds available and staff regularly brought around iced water. We also enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we had fantastic meals at both The Cliff and The Naked Fisherman. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I really appreciated how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff were. What really makes Cap Maison special is the attention to detail and the genuinely caring staff. We made so many wonderful memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Another wonderful stay. Villa 36 was kept very clean by Constance and her colleagues. Service at the Naked Fisherman and The Cliff excellent. The three kittens were sweet and very entertaining. I enjoyed my sail with Ezra who took great care to ensure I had a great time. Having got a little fitter since my last visit the 93 steps to the beach were easier this time but that bench halfway up still beckons one to rest. I felt a great sense of achievement when I ignored it! Too many great staff to mention all here, but thanks to Sherol for the mangoes (they made it back safely) and to Valine for making me laugh every morning at breakfast. . Porsha too. Lisa at the Spa is a truly caring soul and gives a lovely massage. We had room service for the first time . Unlike other resorts, this one informs you of likely time of arrival for order and also calls when it is about to arrive. We ate outside and were served by Roger, a lovely man who has been with the resort from the start. We had a lovely meal - served hot - and I was impressed that the plates etc were quickly cleared away afterwards. The price was reasonable for a Relais Chateaux resort. I would do this again. McKinney and Roger served us drinks by the Courtyard pool a few times. Again great service. After the first time one of them would magically appear at just the right time of the afternoon when we were usually in the pool! Thanks again to Ross and all the staff for a very well-run resort. It takes a team and it shows. We hope to return next year - budget permitting!

Our family of four (with our children aged 21 and 25) spent a wonderful week at Cap Maison, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome, and the exceptional service never wavered throughout our stay. We stayed at a Villa Suite in the Spanish Courtyard, which was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and perfect for a family. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, and it quickly felt like a home away from home. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day, keeping everything spotless while being friendly and discreet. The service across the entire resort was impeccable. The front desk team were always warm, professional, and happy to help with anything we needed. Every member of staff we encountered made us feel valued and looked after. We enjoyed dining at both The Cliff at Cap and The Naked Fisherman, and each offered a fantastic experience. The food was consistently excellent, the settings were stunning, and the service was first-class. Whether it was breakfast or an evening meal - both were spectacular overlooking the Caribbean. The location is another real highlight. Rodney Bay is just a short drive away, making it easy to explore restaurants, shops, and local attractions while still enjoying the peace and exclusivity of the resort. Cap Maison strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and genuine Caribbean hospitality. It was the ideal place for our family holiday, and we left feeling completely relaxed. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in St Lucia. We will definitely be booking again.

Overall, Cap Maison is a lovely resort with stunning views and beautiful grounds. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The food throughout our stay was exceptional, and our couples massage was one of the highlights of the trip. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. However, our experience changed at the end when we had a private dinner. The price listed online did not match what we were ultimately charged, resulting in an additional $200. We would not have minded paying more had the information been communicated clearly upfront. When we addressed our concerns, the attitude we received from staff was disappointing and left a negative impression. One issue the resort should address is the large number of cats on the property. They roam the open-air restaurants, meow loudly, and can be quite aggressive in seeking food. While animal lovers may not mind, it took away from what should have been a relaxing dining experience We also booked a catamaran excursion. Our driver was delightful and made the trip enjoyable, but the catamaran crew itself was not particularly attentive or engaging. The volcano excursion was interesting, but in our opinion, not worth the cost. Despite these issues, we still had a fun and memorable vacation. The beautiful setting, excellent food, and spa experience made the trip worthwhile. That said, we personally would not choose to return in the future..

Had the most amazing and relaxing time at Cap Maison. The staff were genuinely very happy and helpful and just made the visit even more amazing. Went to completely relax and recharge, the beds were incredibly comfortable I slept so well, we even tracked down who made the bedding and brought some when got home 😴 the food and drinks were gorgeous and unbelievably the Minuty rose wine was cheaper then restaurants at home! I came back totally refreshed, 10 hrs sleep a night, ate so well (breakfast was amazing) and most fun wine tasting experience
