Disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Food was decent. Only one bar tender made getting drinks impossible. Waterpark was a fail. No tubes available for indoor water park. However, staff at waterpark was very friendly.

Meh

Pros Cons Its old. The girl who checked us in didn’t tell us anything about how to use the golf cart/shuttle bus shuttles. Come to think of it, she didn’t tell us anything about the resort and what it has to offer. Didn’t tell us where to park either. Here’s a traveler s tip, there’s underground parking garages under the Anchor building. $10 per night for a microwave in your room. They charge a $20 resort fee, couldn’t you provide a microwave? Especially since the resort doesn’t provide breakfast?? Room has a smell…I don’t know if it’s a musty smell or old smell or maybe both. Dead bugs and live spiders in the corners and along the walls, I mean come on, easily sweepable because it’s not carpet. Floor always felt like it was covered in sand. Water leaks from the balcony above onto our balcony. Nobody who works there seems to know where you can fish from.

Large resort with plenty of amenities. Clean but some areas are dated.

Overall satisfied. Went as part of a large group of families for sports tournament. Resort is large but it still does get very crowded. Rooms are nice and clean. Common areas of hotel are clean but dated. For example, one of the elevators was broken pretty much the entire stay. The fitness center was a decent size but equipment was old. The mini golf needs an update. Pools are nice and a good size but again, become very crowded quickly. The restaurants serve good food and drinks (especially the late night pizza!). Staff is friendly and accommodated our large party whenever possible which was great. Shuttle service around the resort is great and convenient since the area is large and amenities are spread apart. The worst part was parking which is very limited. Hard to find spots often when coming back from town. Location of resort is good though. Very pretty views.
