Just across the mountain from Telluride, Dunton Hot Springs is a beautiful destination you will find difficult to ever leave. Located in a remote area of Dolores, Colorado and surrounded by the scent of Ponderosa pine, this rustic hideaway is situated near the "Four Corners" - the area where Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona intersect in the wilderness. The area, formerly a gold rush town, is now an enclave of 400-plus acres surrounded by a pair of national forests in the San Juan Mountains. The area is primed for an array of activities, including hiking, snowshoeing, heli-skiing and so much more.
Dunton Hot Spring's guest cabins are the real thing - 19th-century hand-hewn log buildings once occupied by miners and meticulously restored by local and Native American craftsmen. Each is unique, yet all share incredible views, luxurious amenities and completely private settings. The resort's lounge, dining area, hot springs, bathhouse, and massage and
yoga rooms are all just a short walk away. Dining features gourmet preparation and ingredients, as acclaimed chefs serve up fresh seafood and organic beef, lamb and produce.
