My family and friends love the Equinox. We especially love the marsh bar The bartender PAIGE is truly a mixologist and it knows exactly how to please her customers with her professional expertise. highly recommend going in for wonderful, cocktails, and lite fare. Truly a lovely experience

This hotel is not worth the price…at all. Our room in Orvis was over $1,200 a night. And, as others have pointed out, we were charged in addition a “resort fee” totaling over $180 for the two nights we were there (we never used their facilities). Our room was decent enough but, as I say, not worth anything near the price they charge. It was a two-star room at five-star prices. The worst, however, was the servers at dinner and breakfast. Two of the three (except for Emma, who was thoroughly charming) were downright hostile and rude. They apparently hate their jobs and, by extension, their customers. On the bright side, breakfast was quite good, though the dinner less so (while high-priced). Throughout, the staff seemed overworked and inattentive. Requests, for instance, for coffee refills were met with scowls and sullen silence. Sometimes we even got the refills without having to ask more than once! On the whole, the hotel seems to rely on its past glory with both diffidence and a decided lack of effort. Go elsewhere.

We have been visiting the Equinox for years, with our most recent visit just after COVID. So, it had been about three years since we had returned. The Inn is an old style experience. Quintessential Vermont and everything you would expect. The golf course was lovely and the staff are amazing. We would definitely recommend for a low-key recharge of a few days!

It's sad to see how rundown this iconic hotel has become! I stayed there years ago and it was great. Now, it's apparent that the owners have not invested a dime in it for a long time. It's rundown, understaffed, poor food quality and sad!

We were at the Equinox for our grandsons wedding. Everything was excellent; the food, the accommodations, the service from front desk to housekeeping all excelled. A lovely venue in a beautiful town. Special thanks to Crystal and Gretchen.

Our visit was very enjoyable and we used the pool and was impressed with how well run the spa was and how everything was taken care of for you. It was truly a very pleasant experience and I hope we will be able to take advantage of staying at the Equinox again. Thank you.

As usual, we had a great trip, and enjoyed our stay very much. Many Equinox employees are exemplary. These people are perhaps a big reason why the experience is always great. Thanks again for running an overall fantastic hotel, perhaps our favorite in the world, and we travel quite a bit.
