About the Hotel
What was once a 16th-century working plantation is now an eco-friendly Caribbean hideaway that pays homage to its storied past. Fond Doux Plantation & Resort, located on the island of Saint Lucia, in the historical center and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Soufrière. The tidy wooden cottages, many cloaked in a crisp white hue, dot the tropical retreat and provide a space for guests to lounge on front porches and enjoy the lush scenery and foliage. Interiors are equally charming, with a blanket of wooden planks coating the floor, rattan furnishings and broad French doors that push open to marry the indoors with the outside.

Unforgettable Honeymoon!
Stayed in the Begonia room for our honeymoon. The hotel property is surrounded by lush green nature, and every room or cottage has its own privacy, the Room was nice and clean . food was amazing. The breakfast buffet was a favorite of ours as every morning was something different to expect. We also had the opportunity to creat our own chocolate bars. But the staff made it most memorable, as they were super accommodating, any request i had was met with 5 star plus service and felt like they did everything to make sure i was having a great time. From the bartenders, waitresses, receptionist, maintenance guy,tour guides,and chocolate lady everyone was amazing and i will be visiting again.

Home away from home
The experience we had exceeded our expectations. The staff were polite and friendly. They had made us feel welcome and comfortable. The room we had “Heliconia” was very clean. The restaurant had very delicious food, esp the Chicken Alfredo. Also the free shuttle to Sugar Beach was a nice addition. We would definitely recommend this resort.

Amazing Stay at Soufriere
The staff are all amazing and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the wifi is very good. The food in the restaurant is amazing and fresh. You can walk around nature and pick fresh fruits off the trees inside the resort. We also enjoyed the free shuttle to sugar beach. Overall, our stay was amazing and will definitely recommend this resort. Thank you!!!

The staff is so kind and the property is just beautiful. If you’re looking for serenity and peace, this is your spot. A perfect get away from large groups of tourist with more of an authentic experience of the island.
