Perched on the promenade facing the old city center, the view from Adriana, Hvar Spa Hotel, Croatia's first member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World, combines the Cathedral, the Arsenal, the Venetian piazza, and the bay all in one sweep of the eyes. Completely renovated as a stylish luxury hotel and spa, Adriana's amenities are as diverse as its view, making it a perfect place to relax, renew, and rejoice. The luxurious Sensori Spa offers therapeutic and esthetic treatments, massage, and a wide range of programs. The rooftop terrace features a heated, indoor/outdoor seawater pool and a spectacular sky bar and lounge area. At the Adriana, it is easy to see why Conde Nast Traveler rated Hvar as one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world.

Twin beds with desk & tea making with kettle , safe , mini fridge which makes a warm wardrobe above it which is good for drying clothes. There is plenty of storage in wardrobes . Air conditioning is controllable with a 3 degree temperature range . v clean bedroom with supportive good beds beds and soft pillows. We thought it was an adequate size , I measured it to be 6x4 strides .Said to be 21sq m . Large powerful shower , hand held and overhead but no way of controlling flow . It tends to wet bathroom floor if shower door is not is not completely shut, we asked for a slip mat as no grad rails .Cramped area with basin however plenty of hot water. Glass partition screens basin from room but without a door. WC was separate. Towelling gowns and slippers provided plus flannels with usual vanity products. (Better lighting is needed. ) We loved the aspect of the bedroom looking over harbour towards town .There seemed plenty of room and climbing over beds was unnecessary. Parking (€5a day ) is close to hotel up steep path ( or longer way with 70 steps but easier) . Hvar town is busy and attracts younger affluent people and private super yacht cruises . If you’re after a quiet holiday then maybe Hvar isn’t the best . Dining out is expensive. Hotel restaurant can be recommended . The hotel staff are exceptional in being helpful, & pleasant . The Hotel collects luggage to & from the ferry which is 10 mins stroll along the quay (450m) . You will be impressed if staying here and the roof top bar has a great view towards the old town centre. We stayed at hotel 10 years ago and it is just as nice and has recently been redecorated. Must be one of the best places to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Adriana Hotel and Spa! The location is amazing, right on the waterfront, a short walk from the ferry terminal. They have a wonderful breakfast spread. The area is very walkable and very close to historic spots like the Arsenal and the old public theater. The front desk employees were very helpful with recommendations on things to see around Hvar. Hvar is such a quaint, historic town on the Adriatic and the hotel is in a prime location to explore the town.

We had a lovely stay, spa, and dinner we would definitely go back. The service was exceptional and location is perfect.

The hotel is in a lovely location, accessible from the ferry drop off, and made even more accessible by the porters who meet you to transport your luggage! We had an incredible sea view from our room, which was unbeatable, as was the view from the rooftop terrace and the outdoor breakfast every morning. The breakfast served daily was really nice and offered a lot of options. The spa and sauna had overall lovely facilities, and the indoor pool was lovely but cold! The staff was very nice and accommodating, though we did run into a few issues with staff confusion around what menus could be ordered from at different times. The most disappointing part of the stay was the room itself which left very little space to move around, outdated furniture, old slightly stained linens and a small bathroom, set up in such a way that the whole floor got soaked anytime you turned the shower on (this seems to be a common theme across other reviews). If you won’t be spending much time in your room this will probably suit you fine, but if you plan to take things a little slower, you may prefer an alternative option, purely due to the room itself.
