The stay was only average but unfortunately the hotel management refuses to make improvements. First, the in room A/C unit in our room, #428, was extremely noisy, not just loud. Rattling, metal on metal, etc. Second it did not cool below 72 degrees. We are frequent SF visitors and understand AC expectations, but when it gets in the upper 80's, in a closed hotel room, it is not comfortable even if the noise was not an issue. And yes we asked for another room but was unavailable. Leave the patio door open in the middle of the night when the temps drop...maybe if you are not concerned about someone coming in from adjacent patios. The hotel does not have a place to purchase water, soft drinks, vending machines so you are out of luck if you want something like this after hours. Staff is nice and helpful but getting a decent night's sleep is not possible. It's a shame since the convenience and access is excellent.

Great hotel and spa! Nic and Bruce were both wonderful and very patient with us!

We had an enjoyable stay. Location of both the room and the hotel were great. Walking distance of most things in town you’d want to visit. Rooms are a little dated but everything worked - it kind of added to the charm. Only complete the pillows - one was too soft and two were too big. Rate seemed high, but I guess you’re paying for convenience and location. Breakfast at the hotel test was very good.

I had a 4 Ritual soak and massage with Nick and it was the best massage I have ever experienced! Nick has a PhD in eastern medicine and is very knowledgeable in different massage techniques that are not only relaxing but actually help your body! I will definitely be back!
