Our stay at Kivotos Mykonos in May 2026 exceeded every expectation we had for a couples’ trip to Greece. From the moment we arrived, the property felt like a private sanctuary—elegant, intimate, and thoughtfully designed to showcase the beauty of Mykonos. The views are simply breathtaking. Whether relaxing by the pool, dining on the terrace, or unwinding in our suite, we were constantly surrounded by stunning vistas of the Aegean Sea—an ideal backdrop for a romantic getaway. Equally impressive was the service, which struck the perfect balance between attentive and unobtrusive. The team consistently anticipated our needs and ensured every detail of our stay was seamless. We would especially like to recognize a few individuals who made our experience truly memorable. Faye, the hospitality manager, was exceptional—warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful throughout our stay. The entire breakfast restaurant team also deserves a special mention; every single member was genuinely kind and welcoming each morning. We also appreciated the General Manager, who was highly visible and clearly committed to ensuring guests were well taken care of—something that did not go unnoticed. The food was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each meal felt like a curated experience, showcasing both local ingredients and refined Mediterranean cuisine. Overall, Kivotos delivers a rare combination of luxury, warmth, and authenticity. We left feeling completely relaxed and already looking forward to returning. I would highly recommend it to any couple seeking an unforgettable Mykonos escape.

This is one of the most wonderful hotels we've ever stayed. From the staff to the restaurant to the unbelievably "Mykonos Vibed" architecture and gardens, this place is basically perfect. The lobby, common area work rooms, and multi-level gardens offer extremely well thought out separation possibilities so that, even when nearly full, the other guests were really only seen at the pool. And even then, so many of the rooms have private small pools that many guests use these instead of the main pool....Or they use the private beach... and even that has multiple terraces on the way to the little private pier. As a result, the place really felt like our own little mansion on the sea. The public beach is a five minute walk down a little hidden passageway, and the bus stop to Mykonos town, direct, is a two minute walk. The grounds and rooms are spectacular, with large suites and some with aforementioned mini pool and two bathrooms, but even better than the absolutely perfect 'greek island vibe'' (according to my 21 year old daughter) are the staff. We were greeted and shown around by the front office manager of the hotel, Dimitris, who took the time to show us the little gallery, art installations (of which there are many) and historically significant characteristics of the hotel...again, the grounds are across many levels, and make for amazing views of the little bay and beach, as well as a multitude of flowering plants. The reception team of Kiki and Sonia were always so friendly, and we were extremely extremely surprised by how wonderful the food was at the restaurant and at breakfast. The 5 course breakfast included with our room was extravagant, and basically was so enormous we normally only selected 3 items, but the dinner on the balcony overlooking the water was the best surprise. Fantastic taste and reasonable! The manager Panos greeted us and showed us the restaurant, gym area, and pool bar. His team were great! The multiple waiters and bartenders all were extremely friendly and were here each day so we learned their names: Andreas and Apostolis took care of all our drink requests with a smile, and the service from the wait staff was just top level...perfect balance of attentiveness and restraint...letting us finish and talk, without ever feeling rushed. And the food was prepared to order, every item, by the skilled chef who seemed to always be in the kitchen day and night. Our waiters were Panagiotis, Tolis and Chara, all wonderful as mentioned, and at breakfast Christos and Gregoris kept us extremely happy. Whenever we needed water or towels the reception team was on top of it and that team of Faye, Kiki and Sonia and Dimitris made sure we had all we needed. We've stayed at many places that had either great service or great facilities...but rarely have both been 5 out of 5 stars....I would give the team and the hotel top ratings...both in terms of exterior setting and interior comfort. We will most certainly return, and if one were to make only one trip to all of Greece, I recommend it be this hotel. Dimitris, the first person we met and perhaps the friendliest guy in Greece, will take care of you.

Overall we had a lovely trip at Kivitos. Upon arrival we were meant to have Prosecco in our room for our anniversary, but this wasn’t there so my fiancé had to go and ask for this. They then proceeded to give us 2 bottles and also another one when we celebrated our engagement a few days later, which was very kind of them and much appreciated!! Staff are all really friendly, especially the lovely young man on reception of the evenings, always happy to help and so kind! And then the older lady serving breakfasts was very nice too. Breakfast is table service. It was really yummy food each day, however the service was fairly slow at times and we felt that the older couples were much more favoured and attended to than we were being a younger couple. WiFi is not the best and we struggled to get a good connection in our room. The cleanliness was okay, but not up to the 5* standard you’d expect. It was missing the finer attention to details throughout the hotel and we felt the pool area was quite run down and dirty, which is why I wouldn’t say this hotel was 5*. Lovely location though, just a 10 min walk to Ornos beach and the bus stop to Mykonos town. Overall we did have a really lovely trip to Kivotos, but would recommend some tlc to rooms and updated images on the site (which it appeared they were doing on our last day, as a model and camera crew were filming throughout the hotel). Thank you Kivotos for a lovely stay! 🥂

1) split aircondition leaking like a tap 2) hair of earlier guest allover the room especially bathroom area 3) towels that feel like sandpaper 4) mattress and pillows of such bad quality that even a motel in the US is better 5) curtains that suddenly hang from the corner unhooked! 6) Patchy paint job and poor upkeep inside the room list is endless and one star is given for the smiling and delicious breakfast.

Top hotel to stay! Beautiful hotel on a quiet bay, not far from the town where the night life and noise are! Modern, polite, my style!!!
