A Magical Trip to Bachelor Gulch

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

What a spectacular property -- all aspects of our stay were exceptional! Before we even arrived, Carla (with the concierge team) provided recommendations for activities, restaurants, and more, and, knowing we were celebrating a special occasion, really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a special one. It was, and Carla was a star for us! Absolutely everyone we interacted with provided exceptional customer service. Ryan at the front desk made sure everything was perfect upon check in. The valet team was friendly, unbelievably quick, and always made sure we had everything we needed before heading out for our various outings. Housekeeping was incredible -- this had to be one of the cleanest properties we've stayed at! And the food. Wow. Wyld is a world-class restaurant and deserves all the positive recognition it has received. We were in Denver and Boulder prior to our arrival and had some outstanding meals -- without question, the best dinner of our trip was at Wyld. For that matter, the best breakfast of the trip was at Wyld as well...I guess we should have gone there for lunch to complete the trifecta! We felt so very lucky, felt so incredibly spoiled, and so sincerely enjoyed a magical trip to Bachelor Gulch. We truly believed the staff at this special property wanted us to have the perfect stay -- we really did.

Amazing family stay

We recently stayed at the The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch for a special family celebration, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. What truly sets this property apart is the people. Every staff member we encountered provided warm, genuine, and highly personalized service. Rather than feeling scripted, everyone took the time to get to know us and made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay. A special thank you to the concierge team, who helped coordinate a wonderful surprise in our room for a birthday and graduation celebration. Their attention to detail made the occasion feel extra special and created memories our family will cherish for years. We also had the pleasure of working with Christopher, the resort photographer. He was incredibly talented, energetic, and fun to be around. He immediately put everyone at ease and captured beautiful family photos that perfectly reflected our time together. The images turned out amazing and are among our favorite souvenirs from the trip. Between the exceptional service, stunning mountain setting, and thoughtful touches throughout our stay, this was a truly memorable experience. We cannot wait to return and highly recommend The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch to anyone looking for a luxury mountain getaway with outstanding hospitality.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. AWFUL AWFUL PLACE. WASTE OF MONEY.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. AWFUL AWFUL PLACE. WASTE OF MONEY. I have never written a review about anything and have sought out how to do do this after being deeply enough disappointed in the Ritz Carlton Batchelor Gultch that I am trying to find other accommodations for the rest of my trip. This place is not family friendly at all and I am embarrassed to have had my child here this evening. The music is deafening. It says awful things about the RItz brand that it would have a setting like this. I have historically considered the Ritz to be a reliable brand and will be reevaluating that now.

Truly special stay

This is the best ski hotel we have ever stayed at. Was here for 9 nights over presidents week. The lift is right out the back door. Every restaurant had the best food. We ended up eating at the hotel most nights because we couldn't get enough of it. The vibe is mountain cozy yet very luxurious. All of the staff was super helpful. Housekeeping was on point. The bars outside and music were a perfect end to the day Would 100 percent recommend. It is a magical place.

Wont let you use the bathroom even if you’re there for lunch and bought meals plus alcohol.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

ame here for lunch. Bought meals plus alcohol, but apparently they won’t let you use the bathroom because the hotel is block out by a certain party. Then don’t have people eat at your restaurants but don’t open the restaurant’s bathroom to patrons.
