The Samaya Seminyak-Bali

This is one of the resorts we have visited in Bali which we will definitely revisit in our future trip to Bali. Why? Well the villa is spacious with outdoor and indoor jacuzzi Most importantly we can have breakfast whenever we like!!! This is really nice cos we are late risers and can have breakfast brunch at 12:00pm. Our villa is close to the main pool and restaurant. The food is delicious and we can request for food not on the menus but suitable for us We visit Bali every other year but very seldom we would stay in the same resort unless it’s exceptional. To us we will definitely come again ask for the same villa❤️

The second stay for my husband and I at The Samaya. It certainly won’t be the last. From breakfast overlooking the beach, the tranquil main pool area and the wonderful spa - all just beautiful. The staff were also outstandingly well trained and friendly. Also well located for restaurants and shopping. We can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you to Karmaya and the staff for a most relaxing stay. We look forward to next time.

We stayed at the Samaya Seminyak for 7 nights in two Royal Pool Villas. This was our third stay at the Samaya, and it did not disappoint. We were picked up by the Samaya in a luxurious van, and after a short trip were greeted by the staff and Karmaya, one of the managers. Karmaya is an outstanding manager who has always messages us prior to our arrival to ensure a seamless experience and to cater for any special requests. Karmaya truly goes above and beyond to make the Samaya experience feel special. He checks in with us each day to ensure everything is perfect (which we have never had a single issue!), and makes sure to stay up to date with our plans so his team can assist in any way. Karmaya is really a highlight of the Samaya experience. The villas were both impeccably clean. The housekeeping at The Samaya is a step above anywhere else we have stayed in Bali. The housekeepers always cleaned our villas while we were at breakfast, and completed turndown while we were out for dinner. This created a very streamlined experience where we would never return from breakfast/dinner to our villa being occupied for cleaning. Housekeeping always kept the villas perfectly clean and organised. Breakfast (which is an entirely al a carte menu) has always been good at the Samaya, but this stay we were thoroughly impressed. The service and food quality has been improved for an even better experience. The menu is extensive and has options for everyone. The butler team is also exceptional, and are on call 24 hours. The butler team is always very responsive and handle all requests professionally. The team is always reliable and more than willing to assist with any requests. A highlight is that the butlers are very proactive and walk around the resort, making sure that all your needs are taken care of before anything even arises. I would like to give a special call out to Yoga, who has been one of our butlers over our three stays at the Samaya. Yoga is very friendly and kind, and always goes above and beyond to ensure all our needs are taken care of. Yoga is really a highlight, and we have always looked forward to coming back and seeing him again. The villa pools were always kept clean, and get enough sunlight to stay warm. We also took advantage of the main pool, which is beautiful. The pool attendants always ensure it is impeccably clean and presentable, and are always proactive in getting towels, water, and setting up our lounge chairs/cabanas. Would like to give a special mention to Donny, who always looks after us by the pool. He is very friendly and is always trying to go above and beyond to make sure everything is set up for us and that we don't have to do anything but relax! I would also like to give a special shout out to one of the drivers. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name - but he was a young male. He drove us around Seminyak on a few occasions, and was always very friendly and professional. It was always a delight to see him working. We have stayed at many hotels and resorts in Bali, and The Samaya has always continually impressed. It truly is a special place to stay. Its fantastic location, staff, and facilities always impress. If you are considering a stay at the Samaya, go ahead and book. Now that we are home, we are already thinking about when we can return!

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon and can’t speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff. The location was amazing, right on the beach and we got to watch the most gorgeous sunsets every night from the beach bar. It was walking distance to everything in Seminyak which we found really helpful but taxis were readily available if needed. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, we didn’t have a bad meal. Also really appreciated that we could have our breakfast at any time in the day, there was no cut off point. All of the staff were incredible, so friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. Special mention to Yoga, Nanda, Mirya, Harry, Surwada and Kristin but honestly all the staff were fantastic. The room was also great, absolutely massive and loved our private pool. We hope to be able to stay again soon.

Currently at the end of 4 nights at The Samaya Seminak . Our villa which is a short buggy ride from the main hotel is huge extremely comfortable and quiet with no road noise or noise from other villas. The buggies arrive with in minutes everytime. The cleaning has been completed each day while at breakfast so there has been no waiting around for cleaning to be finished. Breakfast over looking beach every morning and they have been huge with massive selection . Also enjoyed complimentary afternoon teas served on our villas . Enjoyed the Balinese massage at the spa , Lena was amazing . We had lovely meals at Breezes . No matter where you are in the resort the staff have been super attentive and friendly . We will definitely be returning soon.
