Viceroy Bali

This was our first trip to Bali, and it quickly became clear we had chosen the perfect place to stay. We arrived early, had lunch at Cascades, and were pleasantly surprised to receive an early check‑in. As a Hilton Diamond member, I had booked through the Hilton network, and we were delighted to receive a room upgrade on arrival. The upgraded villa was beautiful, very spacious, and came with a lovely private outdoor area. We stayed on the lowest level of the villas, so we used the buggy service regularly to get up to the restaurant — this service was excellent every time. Breakfast each morning was amazing, with high‑quality fresh food and great service. I also loved the thoughtful touches in the room, like the homemade biscuits, crisps, and the regular supply of water and soft drinks. The complimentary shuttle into Ubud was another huge plus. We used it often when heading out for meals or shopping, and Ubud itself is definitely worth exploring. We enjoyed drinks at both Cascades and the Pinstripe Bar, which is connected to the fine‑dining restaurant Aperitif — another beautiful spot. The hotel also offers a number of weekly events. I joined the rice field tour, social hour, and the Balinese dancing evening (where we also had a lovely meal). All were excellent and really added to the overall experience. The entire property is beautifully laid out. There’s a well‑equipped gym and a cinema room, and I enjoyed wandering through the kitchen garden one morning — I was genuinely impressed by how much produce they grow on‑site. The location is ideal for visiting nearby rice terraces, waterfalls, and temples, but it’s also the perfect place to simply relax when you don’t feel like exploring. The staff were consistently helpful, offering suggestions and arranging transport whenever needed. Service throughout the hotel was outstanding — everyone was so attentive. I called this our “paradise place,” and I’m already missing it. We will definitely return.

Just returned home to the UK from a trip to Bali. We recently stayed at the Viceroy Bali for five nights and I can honestly say it is the nicest venue I have ever stayed at. We arrived late evening and the staff at reception were so welcoming. They showed us to our suite and we were absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and all the team are on hand to assist in making your stay memorable. The hotel and rooms are immaculate and are of a very high luxurious standard My son and his girlfriend joined us from Perth and we hadn't seen each other for over a year. We wanted somewhere special to spend quality family time together and the Viceroy didn't disappoint The venue is a very classy place, the terrace area is where you take breakfast and over the five days the staff constantly remembered what your requirements were. This made you feel very special and they were so friendly and efficient. The hotel has a romantic colonial feel about it and my son said he felt like he was on a James Bond set especially in the Pinstripe Bar! Reception assisted us with a half day tour package which was brilliant Temples, Waterfalls, Coffee Plantation, Rice terrace walk They also helped my son with scooter hire. The location is superb situated in the heart of the forest. Green, lush, it certainly takes you back to nature. Thank you Viceroy Bali for the most outstanding experience, we have fallen in love with Ubud and we will definitely be back

From the moment we stepped into Viceroy, we knew we arrived at Paradise on Earth. Words cannot describe the level of hospitality and long list of amenities. Worth traveling across the world to get there. Thank you, Margarete, Patrick and the entire team for an unforgettable time! We will be back for sure.

We were lucky enough to spend four blissful nights here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We felt so welcomed and we were treated like royalty. Everything was perfect! I can not recommend it highly enough. Treat yourself 🥰

Viceroy Bali offers one of the most peaceful and luxurious atmosphere with lustrous greens as back drop. Private pool and interior lay out and material is simple yet very fine and elegant. From the check in point and throughout, the hospitality is genuinely warm and graceful. Balinese dance with dinner one night and 10minute massage by the pool was very thoughtful and i can not thank enough for what they had offered It was the paradise. Love to Viceroy Bali💕
