Favorite place to stay in the city
The Sherry continues to earn its reputation as my favorite place to stay in the city. Overlooking the southeast corner of Central Park. It's quiet, lovely, one of the few hotels remaining with bellmen in the elevators, updated rooms, and yet reasonably priced compared to other five-star alternatives. Easy enough to go to a mega luxury name brand, but where's the fun in that? The Sherry-Netherland is bespoke. It's first class, white glove, and yet low-key and unpretentious. Harry Cipriani Restaurant immediately transports you to a European dining setting. And the fact that they give a 20% discount to hotel guests is the cherry on top of the world's best ice cream sundae. My only regret is that more people may come to the hotel after reading this message, which may make it even more difficult to get a room. I will tell you, my hat is off, and I am indebted to the staff at The Sherry-Netherland. Just take my word for it. This is perfect.

Very enjoyable
Friendly, efficient and discrete. Our stay was most enjoyable. Our room was pleasant and well maintained and unlike many hotels the common areas are immaculate and warmly furnished. Will definitely return.

A definite splurge but you get what you pay for The hotel takes you back in time where service mattered and attention to detail was a must You feel and are treated like royalty the second you arrive

Wonderful Sherry Netherland Hotel
Absolutely beautiful classic hotel with magnificent views of Central Park, great location, and fantastic friendly staff (especially JoAnn, Russell, and Katarina) attentive to any and all needs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Love this hotel and hope to go back sometime soon. Cannot say enough about the wonderful location. The staff could not of been more helpful - very nice people. This one is a winner.

Just spent the most fabulous time in the Big Apple at the Sherry. Could not imagine a better place to stay… the staff was highly courteous, understated, and accommodating, the suite was luxurious, the amenities included fresh flowers, complementary newspapers, plentiful drinks, a great view and a prime location right across from Central Park. Awesome!
