Carmel Valley Ranch has always been an escape with plenty of room to roam, to explore, to discover. Where people rekindle romances, reunite with friends and family, revive spirits, or simply get away and play. And these days, play is more important than ever. Our all-suite accommodations are where the luxury of resort living meets the call of the wild. Swap stories by the fireplace. Gaze at the stars from your private deck as you savor a glass of wine from our own vineyard. You’ll be comfy, carefree, and most of all, captivated. The only Pete Dye-designed bentgrass golf course in Northern California is right here at Carmel Valley Ranch, and no matter how you slice it (or hook it), this par-70 layout offers something for all players: tactical shots, dramatic elevation changes and incredible scenery. Our talented artisans add a unique twist to experiences at The Ranch—join them and hang out with horses, say hello to honeybees, greet our goats, and more.

We were trying to celebrate our 5 year anniversary with our two month old infant. We wanted to hang at the nice pool by the lodge but we were kicked out even though our two month old didn’t make a peep. We had tried the family pool the day we arrived but all the other kids playing in the pool having fun was just a little overwhelming for our baby. Hence why we wanted to be at the calmer pool. We paid a lot of money to stay here to then have to go down the lower pool that turns out is also open to public memberships. When I brought it up to Carlos, a manager, he promised he would help us out. But we never heard anything from him. It ruined our whole experience. I understand you don’t want kids playing in the lodge pool, but you’re really going to kick out an infant who was making no fuss or noise? Terrible customer service. Never coming back.

We stayed here in May and had a decent experience. It was also a time-share, so it didn’t have the amenities of a typical Hyatt hotel (late check-out for Globalists), but we did get two bottles of plastic water. Unfortunately our room’s view was blocked by buildings, so we only had a partial view. The room was nice, but very basic. The Staff was friendly, the overall experience was ok. We did however absolutely LOVE the breakfast. Pacific’s Edge was so special, the food was very well done and we found this to be the highlight of our entire stay. Next time in the area, we might not stay here, but we will definitely go dine at Pacific’s Edge. One thing in case Hyatt sees this: Please switch to aluminum water or glass water. Plastic water bottles have us ingest an insane amount of microplastics. Or have a water refill station. Also, please give us a proper water kettle instead of Nespresso. I’m writing his from a non-Hyatt hotel (my first non-Hyatt stay) in years, and it’s so nice to have glass water bottles, real glass cups, porcelain mugs and a reverse osmosis water station nearby, with a real water boiler in the room. Hyatt is starting to feel a little cheap on quality over the years.

Our stay at Carmel Valley Inn Resort was fantastic from start to finish. The customer service was exceptional—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The resort was beautifully maintained, and our room was spotless and comfortable. We loved the variety of amenities, including the pools, spa, and dining options. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, especially the baby, who enjoyed the farm animals and activities, outdoor games, and pool areas. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and fun, and we can’t wait to return.

Finally checked in to the Carmel Valley Ranch- an unbound collection by Hyatt. So far stay has been amazing. Started off with dinner at the Valley Kitchen, it was my birthday dinner. The highlight was the amazing vanilla cake they brought with a candle. Loved it. Fun to know that Molly Coen, the pastry chef at Carmel Valley Ranch's signature restaurant, Valley Kitchen, recently won season one of Food Network’s The Ultimate Baking Championship. It shows in the desserts and cookies I’ve tried on the ranch so far. My son loved many of the activities here like the archery session (paid but worth it!); he hit the bullseye one time. He also loved seeing the animals here , goats, deers etc. I went to the Aiyana spa in the property during that time. There was an initial hiccup in one of my services being changed kinda last min, but the experience was good in the Hydrafacial prestige and Bee Beaitiful (whole body scrub and then massage). Overall wonderful stay so far.

It's a great place, if you don't mind scores or screaming, yelling, loud, unpleasant children. A few would be OK, but the place was overrun by young , noisy, unpleasant brats. If you want a quiet, restful experience, go someplace else.
