We were walking past on Friday 5 June 2026 and gingerly decided that the four of us might consider having a drink at the bar. We were not exactly dressed for somewhere as plush as this but the staff made us very welcome and directed us out across the rear garden and into the bar avoiding the wedding party which was taking place. When we got into the bar all the tables were either occupied or could not seat four of us. We decided to sit on the four bar stools and relax there at the bar. Drinks are expensive to say the least and we were not prepared for the prices they charge!!! We had one can of Guinness zero alcohol at £9. One can of 0% Days Lager at £8. One can of BBF Gravity Pils at £9 and a glass of Soda Water at £4:50. As you can imagine we only had the one drink each and then continued on our walk around Bath. Our waitress was the very friendly and efficient Rianna and she was a real credit to this establishment. Thank you for a lovely experience and savouring what can only be described as a truly opulent and unique Hotel & Spa

We had room 23 in this hotel for several days exploring Bath and Jane Austen abodes. The hotel built in 1755 has been somewhat modernized with a beautiful interior garden. Restaurant is very good, but our mattress was a little saggy in the middle and should be replaced for a 5 star. But overall a good experience in a great location.

We have just returned from two nights at the Royal Crescent. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish - whilst the hotel is absolutely beautiful and wonderfully furnished it was the staff who really made it. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all friendly and helpful.

We would like to warmly thank you for accompanying us throughout our vow renewal ceremony this past weekend at the Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath. We are incredibly grateful to you, as well as to the entire hotel team, for your kindness, your support, and all the thoughtful attentions everyone showed us during our stay. On Sunday morning, we were a group of 25 people, and everything was managed so perfectly and smoothly — truly impressive. Our guests and we are leaving with stars in our eyes and wonderful memories that we will cherish for a very long time. The whole experience was simply magical, and your professionalism and care made it even more special. Please extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to the entire team. Thank you once again for everything, and we very much hope to see you again soon in Bath. Warm regards, Julien et Laetitia

I have previously had an afternoon tea which was very good. This time I popped in for a breakfast. The location, ambience and staff service were all excellent. But the buffet cold element was uninspiring. I have had more interesting lay out and offering at an ibis! The breakfast tea was heavy and over strong, instead of being refreshing. But the villain of the piece was the cooked English. Greasy and overcooked…a pitch black sausage and near hard fried egg. The black pudding and mushroom were particularly greasy, this was unexpected. I want to love the crescent it has so much going for it. But the elements I mention need attention.
