Firstly I would like to say that the staff here are incredibly hard working. Mustafa and Naby at the First Bar make excellent cocktails. And Mohammed at the Pool was very friendly, helpful and made our time there much more relaxing. However for myself personally I often found the staff almost too attentive, it might be because the hotel was clearly far from being at full capacity while I was there, but sometimes I couldn't sit by myself for a minute without a different one of them coming over absolutely earnestly desperate to help me with something, anything at all. I personally just want to be left alone sometimes rather than being constantly fussed over, so this did get a bit annoying. Basically you can expect them to treat you like Royalty, which might be exactly what some people want, but its not for me. Otherwise the Hotel was fantastic in every conceivable way.

Although slightly worn around the edges it's a very clean, comfortable hotel with fantastic staff. Breakfast and food from other hotel restaurants we went to was excellent. The location is convenient for travel to the pyramids and GEM. I'd definitely recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence and would stay there again.

Excellent service and rooms. From the check in to departure couldn’t fault. The rooms were spacious clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were a good choice of dining options.

We spent 4 nights in April 2026 in 2 separate rooms. We were a family of 6 with 2 children aged 10 and 13 years and my two parents. Check in and concierge services were excellent. The room looked a bit outdated but was comfortable and clean. Regardless of the view, there is noise at night - either from the street between the hotel and the zoo, or from the restaurants and clubs next to the hotel on the Nile banks. Breakfast was average. A big buffet spread but quality was not Four Seasons worthy. Breads were not as fresh. Servers seemed overwhelmed at times and it was hard to get their attention to place orders for drinks. The adjacent mall with high end stores was completely deserted. It was a pleasant area to walk around though. The lebanese restautant next to the pool served excellent dinner. Food was high quality and tasty. Again, hard to find our server even though restaurant was empty. The location didnt seem to matter. Nothing seemed close or convenient. Downtown Cairo is noisy, dusty, there is garbage everywhere, the air is polluted and traffic is bad. If I visited again, I would avoid downtown Cairo and stay in a newer hotel outside of the city like Hyatt Centric Cairo West where we spent our last night. Overall this is still a good hotel; it just does not feel like a Four Seasons Hotel - the rooms desperately need to be renovated, restaurant staff need better training.

LG restaurant is always the best. The best spaghetti in town. Service is always excellent - fast and with a smile. Excellent! Particular call-out to Safaa and Fatima. Thank you!
