About the Hotel

The Royal Mansour Casablanca, originally built in 1952 in the district designed by town planner Michel Ecochard, is an emblematic building of Casablanca. Besides its history, it marks the crossing point between modern art and contemporary architecture, initiated by the pioneers, and the modern designer of the second generation of architects in Morocco. Inspired from this strong heritage with a look to the future to regain an undisputed influence in Casablanca, the Royal Mansour is the latest luxury property in town, offering the highest level of service, with a total of 149 guest rooms and Suites, 7 event venues, 5 outlets for the gourmets and an amazing Spa on 2 levels. A true highlight of the hotel is also Le Salon Barbier. Located on the 20th floor, the barbershop is an absolute destination where male beauty treatments are elevated to an art form.

Reviews for Royal Mansour Casablanca

A Royal Treat!

This is truly a superb luxury hotel. The lobby is beautiful and elegant, as was our room, a deluxe corner room with a view of the Hassan II Mosque. The bathroom in particular was gorgeous, and included a Dyson hairdryer. (Using that finally convinced me to get one myself). The floor-level motion detector lights to help find your way if you get up during the night were among several nice modern touches. Dinner at La Brasserie was excellent - the lamb saddle in particular was fantastic. (The French wines were quite pricey, but very good.). Breakfast outdoors on the rooftop overlooking the city was a wonderful experience. Lunch in the bar featured the best club sandwich I’ve ever had- no surprise, since a three-star Michelin chef is in charge of the menu there as well as at La Brasserie. The extraordinary service really adds to the experience. A staff member spotted me talking pictures in the lobby, and approached to offer me a little tour, pointing out various things in the lobby with explanations of the meaning of each, and took me up to the roof in the glass-fronted elevator for great views. Managers greet you by name and introduce themselves to welcome you. I have never felt so welcomed at a hotel. It was true luxury. We didn’t want to leave, and are busy planning reasons to return.

Traumatising

I visited Royal Mansour Casablanca with the intention of booking a suite and expected a level of hospitality consistent with the reputation of the establishment. During my interaction at reception, comments were made regarding my appearance and assumptions were drawn before any proper conversation took place. I left disappointed by the experience and hope management addresses this professionally.

An oasis in Casablanca with a world class spa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A very plush and tranquil oasis in the heart of Casablanca. I'm still dreaming of the two massages I enjoyed during our one night stay here. I would genuinely return to Casablanca just to experience this wonderful spa again. What truly sets it apart is the genuine care, warmth and thoughtfulness of the entire spa team. Combined with the exceptional quality of the treatments, it places this spa in a league of its own. It was absolutely world class and without question the best spa experience I've ever had. The concierge and his team also went above and beyond securing us tickets to visit the Mosque at the very last minute by sending someone ahead by taxi to purchase the tickets so we didn't have to wait in line. Breakfast was excellent. And the panorama from the stylish rooftop restaurant is spectacular.

Excellent staff and breakfast

We practically ran to Royal Mansour after the scary Sofitel Casablanca visit. Outstanding reception Mr Ismail immediately attend to us and gives us assurance our stay in Royal Mansour can never be as scary as Sofitel. Indeed! Place is immaculate. Bathrobes, towels are soft and white. Room is elegantly designed, bright and carpets are nice and clean. We had room 1507 when we first checked in on April 28th. The room has wonderful views and they present delicious nuts and very yummy chocolate as a welcome stay. I love their toiletries though I’ve to say their body lotion are very watered down. First day I was here the body lotion was thick, the subsequent ones are so watered down. :) Unfortunately our room 1507 is marred by renovation noise which is quite relentless for several hours in the afternoon, toilet button cannot be flushed properly, and the rain shower fails to work after one day. As we’re coming back again May 15th, I told reception upon checking out pls do not give me back 1507. When we arrive back on May 15th, I was disappointed to be given a different configuration room and a view staring directly at a building. Thought Royal Mansour would have upgraded us after what happened prior. Anyway, I make it a point to express my displeasure to the receptionist who decided to change our room to a better view, though I’ve to say the process was rather painful. I’ve to say their concierge and bellboy are the best and most consistent of all. They are always so smiley and go beyond their way to help. They have a very good 24hr gym. Their indoor swimming pool you’ve to pay 500 MAD to access. Indoor pool length is ~ 18m. But at least you get to swim if you’re desperate like me. Nice temperature too. All guest can use the sauna which is hidden right at the end of the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent and one of the best we’ve been to. Location is good, you can walk to the central market and lots of attraction easily. Overall an excellent hotel. Something they might consider? Please revise your food menu and spa price. They're ridiculously high.

The Class of Casablanca

1st, the property is superb. We had the great, good fortune to meet & visit with the GM, Laurent Roussin, in the lobby at check in. He was warm & interested, exuding all of the qualities you would want from someone in his capacity. There is an opportunity for improvement so that the staff reflects those same qualities. In the end, this is where I would stay every time I come to Casablanca. Fitness center is top notch, restaurants are excellent & the view from the 23rd floor are unbeatable!
