Les Suites de la Potinière

This was my first trip to Courchevel 1850 and I was somewhat uncertain where to book accomodations. I have no regrets, as this hotel was exceptional. My trip would not have been the same had I stayed somewhere else. The rooms are huge, modern, clean and bright. I had an immense bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. These are important factors for a ski trip. The location is great - steps from the chairlifts and with ski rentals in the lobby. But, above all was the service provided by the front desk staff. I was skiing alone in Courchevel and wanted to make the most of my time. Tara at the front desk made exceptional recommendations and set everything up for me. I just had to show up and have fun. I was warmly greeted everytime I returned and the staff was genuinely interested in making my stay perfect. Had I stayed anywhere else, I would have had a different experience. I'm elated to have stayed here and the property is very fortunate to have caring, thoughful people focused on the guest experience. I will be back.

I will start with the receptionist. She tried to steal from us every day over $1,000 in total adding things to our bill we didn’t order, including $50 for the room card I left in the room. She was extremely rude and gave a very disrespectful attitude. She was short in height, black hair, and even when I wanted to order food to the room, she insisted she would take a 30% fee. She kept insisting we pay until we threatened to call the police and everyone related to the matter. Only then were the charges removed. This caused significant delays our pre paid transportation almost left while we were arguing about charges we never used. The food was disgusting, the staff unprofessional, and there were unexplained extra fees even for ski passes. I have never seen a hotel with 5 stars and this expensive having worse staff in my life. For a five-star hotel in Courchevel, this level of theft attempts, disrespect, and poor service is unacceptable. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere even if it costs more, at least you can trust what you’re paying for.

Everything was amazing, concierge, reception, breakfast. We hopefully be back next year. only one thing needs improvement which is housekeeping

From the moment we arrived all the staff made us feel very welcome and catered to our every need. The rooms were very well designed and felt very luxurious. We dined in Le cafe every evening where we found the food and staff exceptional, with a great atmosphere. The location of the Suites was perfect with access to the lifts only a few steps away. I would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning next year.

Amazing amazing amazing , everything was just amazing. From staff to accommodation. The hotel feels like you are in a serviced private hotel and the rooms are super modern which is a rarity on the mountains. Location is perfect and close to everything
