The Roseate Edinburgh

We had a wonderful two-day stay at this hotel. The property is situated in a prime location, making it very convenient for exploring the area. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The breakfast was amazing, with a great selection and excellent quality. A special mention goes to Piyush, who looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. His attentiveness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

An absolute lovely stay! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially Alexander. He make us feel right at home. The rooms spotless and the location perfect for our group of 10. Highly Recommend!! Alexander took care of our every need, from restaurant suggestions to booking the reservations and getting us taxis to all our locations and destinations. I would give The Roseate a 10 on every scale! Don’t miss this stay in Edinburgh and ask for Alexander, he’s amazing.

The hotel is not far from the Princes Street. It is convenient to take bus from the hotel to each place of interest. The building built in the Victoria era had a long history, but the interior is very clean and new. They kindly upgraded the petite small room we booked to a bigger room, which I really appreciated. It is a special experience to live in a luxury Victorian house. One of the staff, Alexander was so kind and helpful, which made me feel at ease. The breakfast was impressive, too. In short, I love this hotel.

My stay at Roseate was nice and calm. We were part of the wedding and we had a blast there. The wedding hall was quite small compared to the size of the people but still we loved everything. Food was amazing, rooms were lux. We will be back.

We stayed two nights at the Roseate and from start to finish we were very well looked after. The hotel is close to the city centre and can be easily reached by a short bus journey (bus stop very close by). It is very stylish with a mix of traditional and contemporary interiors. There is a sunny outside sitting area and garden to enjoy. We had our room upgraded to a junior suite which was fabulous with all we could want to make our stay perfect. The staff were very courteous and did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome. We had a delicious full breakfast each morning to set us up for the day. We visited on day one Edinburgh Castle and on the second morning set off to walk part of the Water of Leith Walkway to explore the art Galleries, Stockbridge and the Royal Botanical Gardens. The weather was excellent - icing on the top!
