The Inn & Club at Harbour Town

This place is gorgeous, and the staff is always very helpful, but every year we have this one problem. They really need rollaway cots for guests that have children. This is common in all hotels (in fact the hotel I am going to has this on the way there and a different hotel has it prepared on the way back). They offer a third party rental, which no hotel I’ve ever been to does this. 3rd party charges $75 a night (with sheets, without is $65!). So it would add up to over $400 with taxes in the end on top of the hotel charges and fees. I also heard last year someone request this while I was standing at the front desk. I am hoping this will change in the future as it discourages me from coming on our traditional yearly vacation here.

While we saw plenty of families with young children, the resort was structured in a way that kept them separated from older couples like us that were looking for quiet relaxation. This resulted in the best of both worlds; the joy of seeing kids having fun while we had stress-free solitude. Everyone associated with Sea Pines (hotel, restaurant, golf) was simply wonderful. They truly epitomized the term "Southern Hospitality". In particular, Nicol went far beyond the call to make sure our stay was fantastic and Sabrina was a wealth of knowledge with several outstanding dining recommendations. Finally (and this is a pet peeve), I really appreciated not being "nickeled & dimed" like so many other high-end resorts. Free parking up close and complimentary coffee & pastries every morning really stood out. I know, I paid for it indirectly. But they are nice touches. Well done all around, Sea Pines. I look forward to our next visit.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Inn at Harbourtown Sea Pines hotel and was very impressed with both the service and accommodations. From check-in to check-out, the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. They truly made us feel welcomed and valued as a guest. It was a special place to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday for sure! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything needed for a relaxing stay (even had a pillow menu, never see that before :). The hotel itself was quiet, inviting, and conveniently located. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the overall atmosphere of the property. A specific thank you to Steve Birdwell, Danijela McGinley, Erika and Meshack! Overall, this was a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent customer service and comfortable accommodations. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

Overpriced & underdelivered in the biggest way. Poor communication from the staff, items needing repaired/replaced throughout the property, and service that was noticeably strained. *AC unit unable to keep up, fire pits not working, zero pool service, lights flickering, water pressure in shower becoming incredibly weak after just a few minutes, worn/dated furniture, staff is entirely new from 10 months ago, and do not understand or deliver genuine hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Steve, Johanna, and Ricky all made us feel very welcomed and made our stay unforgettable! Very clean and amazing service.
