My experience
Beautiful hotel and customer service. I did not care for the toilet which is why I will not go back. If you like small, difficult toilets with one hole...go for it. The pool was extra cold - limited people were in it.

Family trip, reunion and wedding
The Halepuna is in a fantastic location, convenient to multiple restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Everything is a short walk away, and for coffee or drinks, about a 2 min walk.

Great location and comfortable stay
Very comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Waikiki. The restaurant UMI by Vikram Garg has some amazing food and is worth a try.

Quieter alternative to busy resorts
Location is great, right across street from Halekulani and beach entrance. Rooms were on the smaller side but sufficient. Bed comfortable and tidy. Clean room and bathroom. Appreciate the larger bathtub for showers. One downside is the pool area, while nice and comfortable, is on the side of the building on 8th floor so in mid-afternoon the pool becomes full shade. This hotel Compared to Halekulani- no comparison in amenities provided but that reflects in the price. Has similar akey annd light modern anesthetic. Overall this is a quieter and more elevated stay compared to some of the other noisier resorts nearby such as Outrigger, Sheraton, Royal Hawaiian and Marriott.

Great location and good value for the price. The overall experience was positive, though the service could have been friendlier, and some amenities were only provided upon request.
