Locals beware: you will need to pay the $55 resort fee

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 22 hours ago

If you are a local, be prepared to pay the $55 per night plus tax resort fee. I tried to explain to the receptionist that we have no intention of using any of the amenities but that that did not matter. I am very disappointed in Vdara's policy and will NOT be staying here again.

Great no casino hotel

Good city center hotel, mattresses are very firm which was great for us. No casino smoke in the lobby plus. Indoor walkway to the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan.

Okay but be prepared to be fleeced for everything

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Centrally located, pleasant atmosphere. Clean rooms but quite costly. We felt like we were constantly being charged for extras and gouged at every turn. The ATM in the lobby charged almost $13.00 just to use it, a bottle of soda was $9.00 at the market in the lobby, a bottle of water in the room was $18.00. A premium is one thing, Vegas strip pricing is just silly. Shower head in the room was clogged and the soap dispensers were empty even after room service. We will stay off strip upon our return.

Vdara stay for conference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

things have changed since my last visit at the Vdara - having to pay for water and coffee seems like way too much nickel and diming...

Great stay!

Upon check in I was pleasantly surprised to be moved to a higher floor of the hotel & was delighted to have a view of the Bellagio fountains! Rooms are very big with a lovely bathroom & big comfy bed. The hotel is in a good location, with access to other hotels with casino’s.
