A five-star luxury London hotel with 50 rooms and 23 suites and studios, The Beaumont is grand in style yet intimate and welcoming. Inspired by the great hotels of the 1920s, it occupies a fine Art Deco building on a quiet garden square, close to the boutiques, galleries and museums of Mayfair, St James's and the West End.

The location of this hotel is perfect for central London shopping. It’s also very close to an Elizabeth line station, which is great for getting around easily and comfortably. We loved the traditional art deco styling and the lovely view from the 4th floor towards Brown Hart Gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially beforehand on the phone. Our room was nicely appointed, although a little small. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nicely equipped. It was generally quiet, with some occasional distant traffic noise. I found booking beforehand online quite tricky and the iRewards system didn’t sync with my booking. It was also annoying to spot the price went down considerably and then a 5% ‘service charge’ was added when checking in. The thing we liked least about the hotel were the intimidating doormen, who often appeared in relatively large numbers of 4 or 5 and seemed to patrol the front of the hotel. The overall hotel size is quite small, more boutique, and in this context is nice but I was expecting something on a slightly grander scale. Overall, a nice place to stay but not really in the league of Claridges, Savoy etc. yet prices are similar.

We have stayed at the Beaumont together with my wife for 4 nights in early May. London sure has its fair share of luxury hotels and the service level at the likes of Connaught, Claridge's etc. are always impressive. But if you're looking for a hotel with a level of service second to none and if you prefer that boutique feeling i.e. tailor-made service, smaller number of rooms and more privacy to hotels offering hundreds of rooms and thus boilerplate service; I strongly recommend The Beaumont. From the first day onwards we were on a first name basis with the gentlemen working the door as well as the reception staff. Everyone goes out of their way to cater to your each and every demand. The rooms were some of the largest I've ever stayed in London, with a large and comfortable sofa even in the superior category. Honestly, it is also the little things that the staff pick up on without you mentioning; a very comfy pregnancy pillow for my wife, eyeglass cases and wipes for each and every sunglass we left around the room (and there were many), cable zips for our charging cables, I could go on and on. There are the things that make you feel as if you're at the privacy of your own home, as opposed to a hotel. The hotel also has a brand-new green Range Rover as the 'house car', we were chaffeur-driven to all our dinners in Mayfair and our trips to Liberty, Regent Street etc. - free of charge. Special shout out to Ned at the reception and Colin, Istvan, Tony and Jim at the door; for making our stay both extra comfy and truly memorable. This was our first time at The Beaumont but I shall look no further for a hotel for my upcoming trips.

This hotel is a gem. Unbeatable location on a quiet side street steps away from Selfridges. The moment one enters the door you are treated to refined, elegant, thoughtful pampering that spares no detail. The art deco decor is magnificent, the towels and bedding, luxurious, and the shower...I've never had a better shower anywhere! The staff is incredibly helpful and professional and polished. We loved every moment and cannot wait to treat ourselves again.

As we departed the very lovely Beaumont Mayfair Hotel, our home for the last 4 nights, the doorman greeted me with "Good morning Susan." He opened the car doors for us, helped the driver load our luggage, then lifted his top hat and bowed as we drove off, a most fitting display of charm and grace indicative of the class and extraordinary service we experienced here this week. There are literally hundreds of 5 star hotels in London, but for us this beautiful boutique hotel exemplifies the best of personal care and graceful living. It will be our home whenever we are privileged to visit London again. Of particular noteworthy mention is Robert, a true gentleman who welcomed us to a late night dinner, a week ago last Friday. We were so impressed by his courtly manner, and genuine friendliness, we checked out of the considerably less desirable Lansbury Heritage Hotel and switched to the Beaumont. Alex, the manager of the hotel's Rosi restaurant provided my husband, and I, with a list of area hot spots, restaurants, shops, parks and tram stations to get around. The beauty of this hotel's rooms are elevated by the details. Interesting books on design, art, area entertainment, daily fresh fruit on the table. Also available were an array of fine snacks and libations. A very heartwarming surprise was the lovely hotel bookmark left on top of my book on the night table, by the turn down service staff. This is the type of gesture and style which sets the Beaumont apart. London exceeded our every expectation. We enjoyed every moment of our 10 days in this lovely city, without ever once having to pop open our umbrellas 🌂! Thanks for the memories London and to the staff at the Beaumont. Our hats are off to each of you. God bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️"

From the moment I arrived at the front door, the staff were helpful, warm and genuinely welcoming. I was shown around my room and talked through how everything worked, which was such a lovely touch. I did immediately forget how to use the heating and air con controls, but one quick call to reception and they changed the settings remotely for me without any fuss. The room itself was beautiful. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and I was lucky enough to have an amazing terrace, which felt like such a treat in London. It had clearly been designed with the British weather in mind too, with lighting, heating, comfortable chairs and a retractable awning, so I could actually enjoy the outside space properly. The whole hotel is stunning. It has that rare feeling of somewhere that could have been there for hundreds of years and has simply been impeccably maintained. The details are gorgeous, from the black and white photographs in the lift to the beautiful powder room downstairs. Everything feels considered without feeling showy. What really stood out, though, was the guest experience. Nothing felt like too much trouble. I especially loved having steamed milk brought to my room for my morning coffee, and the little details made it feel like a real home away from home: a welcome note, a bottle of non-alcoholic fizz in the room, branded chocolate and macarons. As someone with a sweet tooth, that was very well received. Breakfast in Rosi was sublime. The room itself is beautiful, with a lovely story behind the revamp, and the balance of light, detail and architecture makes it feel as though it has always been there. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. They even managed to make porridge feel like a treat. Between the buffet and the menu, it felt as though every preference had been thought about. On my last day, I was able to ask for a coffee to go before reluctantly leaving what really had become my London home from home. The location is also superb. Selfridges is on the doorstep, and Leicester Square is a lovely walk away down Oxford Street and Bond Street. If you are planning a shopping trip, I honestly cannot think of a better base. The Beaumont gets the details right. Every person I came across seemed to genuinely care about the guest experience, and it shows in everything from the service to the room touches - even down to a cable tidy that I may have accidentally taken home with me. I cannot wait for my next visit.
