Went specifically for the Hot Brown that we had heard was a unique dish created by The Brown Hotel. Some of us got the petite and some got the full. Didn't see much difference except a piece of bacon and the bread.

While we did not stay at The Brown, we had The Brown in the restaurant, it is worth the hype! The lobby areas of the hotel are just amazing!

My wife and I went to the Brown Hotel on May 8, 2026 and ordered the Hot Brown. We were served by two very friendly and gracious servers, one, I didn't get her name but she was from Kenya and we said: "How are you" in hr native tongue!" The second server is name Emir. He took time in sharing with us about the Hot Brown and brought us the recipe in cooking it. As a result of their representation of the Brown Hotel, we intend in telling others about this Hotel and the gracious service they provide . . . and how delicious the Hot Brown is!

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for three night for a recent sporting event. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the valet/guest services staff- they were seriously the highlight of this place. Friendly and super fast with vehicles. We were sent to the second floor to check in, which was a bit odd. The “front desk” wasn’t the most obvious and there was no one there so we had to wander around a bit. Finally my daughter saw someone come out and go to what we learned was the front desk. The staff member (a woman) could not have been less interested in us and was anything but welcoming. Another staff member had come up to get change while we were checking in and she talked to her the whole time. We were not given any info about the hotel or its amenities. There’s supposed to be a conceirge, who we could have used, but they were no where to be seen. The elevators were beautiful but small and slower. Our room on the 9th floor was tiny- one of the beds was less than a foot from the front wall of the room. They were supposed to be queens but were double/full- thankfully we were not sharing beds. The bathroom was beautiful but showed a lack of maintenance and cleaning. The makeup mirror light did not work. The blinds were filthy. Throughout our stay, the toiletries were not replenished, even when clearly used. The refrigerator is a beverage cooler, not an actual fridge so you can’t keep food in it. I tried to get ice but the ice maker on our floor did not work. I told two separate staff members about it but it was never fixed and no sign was ever put up. I tried to go to a different floor and there was a sign that THAT ice maker didn’t work. I ended up going to yet another floor to finally get ice. The trim around the elevators was very beat up and the paint was peeling- on multiple floors. Guests for events use the same elevators as guests staying there, and there is only key card entries to the top floors. This is somewhat concerning as the area immediately around the hotel isn’t great. It is very unusual for a hotel in an urban area to not have keycard access for safety reasons. We did not eat in the hotel because it was super pricey and we had a weird schedule with our tournament. Also, even the more casual place had people dressed to the 9s and we would have felt out of place because we did not bring those type of clothes. For the same price or less, you can stay at a very highly rated BNB and get breakfast and much better service. This was a disappointing stay, especially considering the premium price.

I used valet parking for $36/day. In & out unlimited. Guys at valet desk were very nice. Had light dinner at the bar in Lobby. The appetizer version of the famous "Hot Brown" is quite tasty and large enough for 2 .
