This Hotel really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. They made sure our Anniversary trip was one for the books. The staff was exceptional in everyway from the restaurants to the bartender to the cleaning staff and especially reception. Thank you for making sure our stay was fabulous from start to finish!

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service located in a great area within walking distance to the Prado Museum. We stayed in a premium room, which was well worth the additional cost. The attention to detail in the room and throughout the hotel was obvious. We appreciated the mid-afternoon snack and wine delivered to our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great experience and service at a beautiful hotel. The hotel employees provided great service even when facing the electrical power shutdown on a very stressful day. We strongly appreciate how everyone in the hotel treated us, even while watching them being very tired and stressed. The hotel was one of the few places with a generator.

We absolutely LOVED our stay for a 1 day layover in Madrid at the Gran Fenix Hotel. We were shocked by how amazing the service was. From the unexpected welcome amenity of delicious fresh fruit and typical Spanish cordial, to the beautiful turndown service and attentive doormen, we were so grateful after along flight to check in with this level of service. As for Gastronomy this hotel gets a 100/100! The bar menu was beautiful and we were happy to spend our evening there, and I cant speak highly enough about the breakfast spread. One of the best most luxurious breakfast spreads I have been to in Europe, competing VERY WELL with the Hotel Majestico in Barcelona's breakfast spread. My absolute favorite touch was the ability to request fresh Churros and chocolate from the world famous Chocolateria San Gines. This chocolateria was on our list of places to visit before leaving Madrid, but with such little time before needing to depart to Granada, we weren't able to go. The fact that this was offered, and we did not have to leave Madrid without trying the world famous chocolate and Churros we were SO GRATEFUL for. An amazing touch to an already elegant and luxurious breakfast spread. We will 100% be returning to the Hotel Gran Fenix the next time we are in Madrid. Absolutely worth the price. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Fénix Gran Meliá Hotel in Madrid, and we highly recommend it as ‘the best place to stay’ in Madrid. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional in every way. The hotel's location is unbeatable—situated in the elegant Salamanca district, it is within walking distance of Madrid’s finest shopping and cultural attractions, yet still offers a quiet and boutique atmosphere. The service was truly five-star. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Here we should specifically mention Silvia’s name as the best Guest Relations Manager we have seen ever; she is a true professional and very warm and welcoming. The rooms are very beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was a highlight: an exquisite spread with both international and local options, and even more important than that with the very beautiful decoration. Fénix Gran Meliá truly embodies the spirit of classic luxury with a modern touch. We have recommended the hotel to some of our friends already and will definitely come back again.
