My stay at Radisson Red Madrid was one of the best. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Ambience and location are excellent.

A good Value for money

The hotel is very nice, decoration, AC and super well located near tourist spots and metro station, personally I loved and I want to highlight Merlen as she did our check in and help us to get 2 beds i would love to come back just one point of improvement to take more details in the cleaning of the room from housekeeping

Good but could be great

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Did not get any recognition or upgrade as VIP, except for getting the free breakfast amenity. While not guaranteed other hotels always manage to give at least a high floor or corner room, and some kind of extra welcome. Was also dissappointed by the breakfast, the "crispy bacon" was somehow both soft and partially burnt, scrambled eggs was not good and other things did not look like they had been refreshed in the 2 hours since breakfast opened. Also why do they assign tables when they have no system to keep track of tables already assigned? Room itself was nice enough with good AC control. Bathroom could use some minor refinishing. I would also have preferred normal bottled water with sealed lids.

Great experience

Great and unique design. At the same time, the location is very convenient to explore the landmarks in Madrid. Remarkably, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our group had an enjoyable stay at Radisson RED.

I would fire the interior designer

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I usually enjoy staying at hotels from the Radisson Hotel Group, but unfortunately this one was disappointing. The room was very small, although the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The main issue was the interior decoration and overall styling. I understand the hotel was going for a black-and-red theme, but I could not understand the oversized ghost-like photo portraits and the excessive artwork placed throughout the room. Since the room was already small, the huge portraits and dark black trims made the space feel even more cramped and uncomfortable. In my opinion, the purpose of a hotel room is to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable. When a room is small, the design should be kept simple and bright to create a sense of space. Dark colors and heavy decorations only make the room feel smaller and less inviting. The lobby and hallways were also dark and felt gloomy and spooky rather than stylish. Overall, the interior design and atmosphere were not to my taste and felt very different from the usual experience I associate with other Radisson Hotel Group hotels.
