Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile Hotel

This a lovely hotel with excellent service and attention to detail. We had very much been looking forward to a 3 night stay from May 31- June 3 but reservation completely disappeared off the hotel booking system. Neither the hotel or Accor could retrieve our reservation and the hotel was fully booked for that period of time. Please be wary when booking with Accor online and confirm directly with the hotel prior to your stay.

I stayed for two nights at the Sofitel Golden Mile, and would go back there in a minute. The staff is wonderful, especially the concierge, with lots of recommendations of things to see which I would not have known about, as well as restaurants. The hotel restaurant was closed on one cold and rainy night we were there, and they had many ideas for other convenient choices, with excellent cuisine. But even the bellmen were friendly and helpful. The rooms are phenomenal, and laid out in a very thoughtful way. One wonderful feature is that on each side of the bed, they include a charging station for one's phone, so you don't have to search around for an outlet. The rooms are spacious and quiet. They seem to have considered guest's needs very carefully in a recent renovation.

The updates to the hotel are excellent. We have been bringing our group to this hotel for many years now. The staff is great and always helpful. We will definitely be bringing our group back here.

This was my sixth stay at this hotel. The rooms are bright and if you stay on the north side of the building you can have one of the closest hotel views of the mountain. The staff are very helpful (more so than another larger Montreal hotel I often stay at). When I arrived to check in during a busy time, Ms. Gonzalez was very helpful in ensuring my check-in was quick. The hotel is located on Sherbrooke street which reminds me of Park Ave. in New York. It is located a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of downtown. shopping. I will be back!
