Elegant, modern, hotel within 5" walk of Sully Metro station. Located in quiet area of 4th Arrondissement overlooking the Seine River with views of Eiffel Tower, Sacre-Coeur, Pantheon domed tomb, Ile Saint-Louis with a peak of Notre Dame 9 (still under repair with scaffolding). Small but refined bar at the top with great views serving excellent but expensive (20 Euros) cocktails. Buffet breakfast with hot eggs or pancakes to order which was included in our booked rate.

We stayed here with our 2 adult boys for four nights we had two rooms. Initial thoughts on arrival was that it was very nice and modern and a good location. However, this hotel has not got a relaxing area or bar to go to after a meal and have a quiet drink. There is a lobby bar which is a coffee bar and closes at 9.00pm?? There are a handful of very uncomfortable chairs to sit on. The terrace bar is on 16th floor and we were told it was fully booked when we asked the girl behind the podium on the ground floor and we were refused entry!! We were told people book it online as it’s so popular! We were guests and had spent quite a bit of money on two rooms. The receptionist sympathised with us and gave us drinks vouchers for when we made a booking!! It’s really not good enough that paying guests are refused entry to the ONLY bar in the hotel! Also my two sons were refused entry one night also. This aspect of the hotel really infuriated me . We have stayed in beautiful 5 star hotels around the world and never ever have we been to a hotel that does not have a relaxing area or bar that especially you don’t have to make a booking for! Unfortunately we will not be returning to this hotel

Tried this new hotel as we wanted the location and the view. The view and location are great but that is about it. Paid for and got a corner suite which had a great view as advertised. Location was very convenient for the places we wanted to go. Breakfast was terrible as the buffet was mostly empty the two days we tried it. Was so bad that we went out for breakfast the rest of the stay even though breakfast was part of our rate. Service was a lot worse than even what you would expect in Paris (having travelled here dozens of times). Wait staff openly rude to the family sitting beside us, maid service not showing up all day etc. Much better options available at this price point.

My husband surprised me with the iconic view room on the 12th floor…check in was a breeze even though there was a room key glitch…professionally handled…gorgeous room with modern conveniences…shower was amazing and just wait until you see the rest of the modern touches…”goggles” worked perfectly and Coke Zero everyday was refreshing…remember to arrange for turn down service…a “treat” every time!…we tried the bar and again amazing views and professional service…great music too for this older couple!…when we come back we will stay at SO! Thank you all very much! ❤️

This hotel is a real gem, and I'm likely to return here next time I'm in Paris. Because of its location along the river, the hotel has awesome views -- including those from my 11th floor "Iconic Paris Skyline" room, as well as from the restaurant and bar on the 15th and 16th floors. Beyond the views, the hotel just seems to get all the details, big and small, just right. The service -- from check in, to the restaurant, to housekeeping -- was flawless. The nightly turn down and evening treat (which changed every day) was a delightful way to end each day. Housekeeping was excellent and consistent. My room was large, spotless, and comfortable, and looked just like the pictures on the website. The welcome treat in my room was also delightful and unexpected, especially as a brand new All Accor member and first time visitor at this hotel, but made me feel VIP. The gym is large, with several bikes and treadmills, a rowing machine, and free weights and machines. The restaurants and bar are fantastic -- daily breakfast is solid, dinner was delicious (but fancy, so bring a nice outfit), and don't miss a late afternoon/early evening at the bar, sipping a wine or cocktail while looking out over the City of Light. Finally, location is really subjective depending on your needs, but it was great for someone like me who enjoys Paris on foot. It was a pleasant, 20-40 minute walk toward my destinations on either side of the river (e.g., Marais, Bastille, Republique, Quartier Latin, etc.), but there's a Metro stop within a block, and a grocery and pharmacy within 3-5 minutes if you need anything. Obviously, overall I was quite impressed with this hotel. I don't rate many places five stars, but SO/ Paris deserves it.
